Class And Office Work Suspensions On December 2 To 7 For 2019 SEA Games

Class and work suspensions have been announced to give way to the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games to be held from November 30 to December 11, 2019.
CNN Philippines reports that the 2019 SEA Games will feature 56 sports and 523 events to be held in 39 venues in Subic, Tagaytay, La Union, Batangas, and Metro Manila.
In light of the 2019 SEA Games, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has recommended that class cancellations be observed in schools from December 2 to 7, 2019 around Manila, Rappler reports.
As of writing, the schools that have announced class and office work cancellations are the following:
- De La Salle University – Manila
- De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde
- Benilde Deaf School
- Arellano Law School
- St. Scholastica's College
- St. Paul College Pasig (December 2 to December 6)
- St. Pedro Poveda College (December 2 to December 6)
- City College of Tagaytay (December 2 to December 6)
- Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sta. Rosa
- Aurora Quezon Elementary School (December 2 to December 6)
- Andres Bonifacio Elementary School (December 2 to December 6)
- Gotamco Elementary School (December 2 to December 6)
- Rafael Palma Elementary School (December 2 to December 6)
- Wesleyan College Manila (December 2 to December 6)
- Bagong Ilog Elementary School (December 2 to December 6)
- Oranbo Elementary School (December 2 to December 6)
- College of Subic Bay Montessori (December 2 to December 6)
- Mondrian Aura College (December 2 to December 6)
- Angeles City, Pampanga (December 2 to December 6)

MMDA spokesperson Celine Pialago says that road closures will be implemented in parts of M. Adriatico Street and Pablo Ocampo Street in Manila due to events to be held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
