Everyone thought it was an April Fool's prank when Isabelle Daza posted on her Instagram stories that she had welcomed her and husband Adrien Semblat's first baby. It turns out that it was—only, it was about the baby's gender (it's a boy, not a girl as previously reported). But she did give birth.
Today, April 4, the new mom shared the very first photo of her four-day-old son, and an Instagram Stories post of his first toy, a bunny plushie. They have yet to announce the little cutie's name though.
"Never knew I could love someone so much," Isabelle wrote as caption. She also shared a tidbit about her birth experience. "Last Saturday, I had to go through an unexpected emergency C-Section due to complications, but our baby boy is healthy [and] it’s all that matters," she added.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Based on one of Isabelle's Instagram posts, she was considering to deliver via water birth or, at the very least, had hoped to welcome her first child via natural spontaneous delivery. No details were given about the nature of her birth complications. (Read about why doctors need to perform an emergency CS here.)ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
New dad Adrien, on the other hand, posted the very first photo of Isabelle and their son. "The family just got bigger... The nights of sleep shorter..." he captioned it. "And I also discovered the epicenter of my wife's power!" he added, possibly alluding to Isabelle's strength during the whole ordeal.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Isabelle also expressed her thanks to all the well-wishers and the doctors and nurses who took care of her and her baby. "Thank you from the bottom of our hearts," she said.
