A breastfeeding mom's duties don't stop even when you're away from your baby.
Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up Shamcey Supsup Lee brought home with her the most precious pasalubong for son Nathan: breast milk!
"Okay lang mawala lahat ng luggage ko pauwi, 'wag lang ang cooler box na ito," the mom of two wrote as a caption for a photo of her hugging a portable cooler while at the airport. "This contains four days worth of breast milk," Shamcey proudle revealed.
Shamcey, who gave birth to her second child, son Nathan, on September 30, hesitated to go to Bangkok, Thailand for the pageant because she was still exclusively breastfeeding him. It was Shamcey's mom who "dragged" her and convinced her to watch.
"It was hard to leave my baby for a few days, and it was a challenge to continue pumping milk all throughout my stay here BUT it was all worth it to witness the crowning of our 4th Miss Universe!" Shamcey exclaimed.
Shamcey did miss the swimsuit competition part because she had to pump breast milk.

I would pump in the car, in the restaurant, and even during Miss Universe," Shamcey proudly shared. "I know it's super hassle to be bringing all my pump parts everywhere I go but whatever sacrifice as long as it's for the baby then its definitely worth it!" she added.
It was not surprising that Shamcey would pump anywhere and everywhere. She already did so when she was still breastfeeding her firstborn, daughter Nyke. "When I'm out, I always pump everywhere. I pump sa traffic, in the makeup chair, sa restaurant," Shamcey told SmartParenting.com.ph in a 2016 interview.
She also isn't shy to pump or breastfeed in public. Since she gave birth to son Nathan, she's been seen breastfeeding while walking at the mall! You go, momma!
