Sitti on Daughter's Fall: 'Kawawa Lang That It Happened So Early'First-time parents handled the unfortunate incident as calmly as possible.by Rachel Perez .
No parent wants any harm to come to her child — but sometimes, there are things that happen beyond our control. Yesterday, May 27, 2019, Sitti shared on Instagram Stories that daughter, Issiah Dañelle (a.k.a. Lilibubs) fell from her stroller. The first-time mom, though, is putting a positive spin on the unfortunate incident.
"Lilibubs fell from her stroller when Yaya wasn't looking for a few seconds," the Philippines' Bossanova queen shared. "Okay naman po si yaya, wala siyang galos o pasa," she joked.
"Seriously though, Lilibubs' first wounds and bruises were bound to happen sooner or later... kawawa lang that it happened so early," Sitti added. Her daughter suffered a contusion, or pasa, on her left forehead, a bruise on her right eye, and a larger one on her chin.
In one Instagram Story, mom and daughter were shown in the car, perhaps to have her wounds checked by the doctor. "But what else can we do, right? But to hold her when she cries and to treat her wounds and to pray that she gets over it quickly," the new mom added.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWCONTINUE READING BELOWRecommended VideosADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Sitti and Joey are taking the unfortunate incident in stride. They are looking at it with a positive perspective, bringing with them the learnings it offered as they move forward.
In one of Sitti's Instagram Stories, she shared that her husband injected humor into the situation. "Nakipagsuntukan sa park yung baby action star natin," she recalled her husband saying. Sitti even captioned one of Lilibubs' photos sporting a band-aid on her chin, "our brave little stuntwoman."ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
The next morning, Lilibubs seemed to have moved on from her fall and is back to her madaldal and smiley self. The bruises she obtained were also visibly healing. "Thank you, everyone, for your concern and prayers," Sitti wrote.
