No Wedding Bells Yet! Here's What We Know About Sofia Andres, Daniel Miranda, and Baby Zoe

On Father’s Day this year, actress Sofia Andres revealed that she’s a mom to a 7-month-old daughter, Zoe, whom she shares with Daniel Miranda. It’s the reason people didn’t see her in the spotlight for some time. 

Sofia, 21, gave birth to Zoe on November 24, 2019. She recalled that she didn’t get scared when Sofia first found out she was pregnant in February 2019, Valentine's Day to be exact. “I went to Sydney (Australia). I stayed there for six months. I took a break from showbiz,” the new mom said. She was already five months pregnant then.

Since the reveal, the world has been smitten by Zoe. Here’s what we know so far about Sofia’s journey to motherhood:

1. Sofia and Daniel have been together for four years. 

Sofia’s partner and father of her child is an international race car driver. He hails from Cebu and his mom, Angelique Lhuillier, the new dad is part of the family that owns the largest pawnshop in the country. They’ve been together for four years.

Since Sofia went public, Daniel shares on Instagram: “I’m so proud of you, love, such a strong and beautiful girl. I’ll be here for you and Zoe always.” Aww.

2. Sophia's family and friends threw a surprise baby shower for her.

“It is true babies can gather the overwhelming love you have from the people you care the most! Thank you for organizing this baby shower,” Sofia wrote as a caption. It was a video of snippets of her baby shower held in Australia.

She tagged the surprise event as one of the most memorable events in her life. Together with Daniel, she and their family and friends had fun playing baby shower games such as making diapers out of tissue rolls and measuring her baby bump with a string. 

3. Sofia was glowing when pregnant and even during labor. 

Like many preggos, the actress’s hormones had her emotional, and she craved a lot. She’s lucky that her partner Daniel cooked for her and ate with her. She was there to massage her, comfort her, and make her feel that they are in it together.

Sofia also shared photos of her labor on her Instagram Stories. She was seen walking in a mustard maxi dress at home and strapped with a fetal monitor belt on her tummy. She was in pain, but she still looked great.

4. Little Zoe was baptized last February.

Sofia and Daniel’s little girl was born in Australia last year, but she was baptized in the Philippines just last February in Sanctuario de San Antonio Parish in San Juan City.

The new mom shared a video of baby Zoe’s sweet and intimate baptism. ActressKathryn Bernardo was present, though unclear if she’s Zoe’s godmother. 

5. Sofia and Daniel are in no rush to get married.

While their relationships are growing strong, Sofia and Daniel are in no rush to get married. “Pero, we’re going to get there,” Sofia said. He still needs to finish his studies, and Sofia also wants to continue her acting career. They’re taking it slow, getting to know each other more, and establishing their relationship, as well as focusing on raising Zoe as well. 

We’re going to see a lot of Sofia and Zoe, and we’re so excited!
