Sofia Andres Recalls The Moment She Found Out She Was Pregnant: 'Hindi Ako Natakot'She got the news on Valentine's Day 2019!
On Father's Day, June 21, Sofia Andres made the big announcement that she and her longtime boyfriend, race car driver Daniel Miranda, were proud parents of their baby daughter, Zoe. The 21-year-old Kapamilya star noticeably took a leave from showbiz in 2019 and spent most of her time in Australia, where Daniel was studying. But unknown to the public, Sofia actually flew to Sydney when she was five months pregnant and gave birth to Zoe on November 24, 2019.
In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN, Sofia spoke about her pregnancy milestones and how her relationship with Daniel, whom she's been with for four years, has changed. So, when exactly did Sofia find out she was pregnant? It was actually on Valentine's Day last year while she was at a shoot!ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWCONTINUE READING BELOWRecommended Videos
"Nasa shoot kasi ako noon, parang feeling ko may kakaiba akong nararamdaman," she said. After noon, nag-positive agad.
Ang galing no?
Living with Daniel in Australia for the rest of her pregnancy was a big change for Sofia, who's always relied on her mom for support. But her move taught her how to be independent, like making wise decisions in spending her money.
"Wala akong mommy. Magastos kasi ako, andiyan si Daniel to teach me how to do those things, how to be independent. Ang saya na medyo kinabahan talaga ako. First time ko kasi mag-abroad na mag-isa, tapos pregnant pa, 'di ko alam kung anong mararamdaman ko. Ang saya kasi pagdating ko doon may mga tao na nagmamahal sa akin," she said.
While giving birth to Zoe was painful — "halos mag-walling na ko sa every corner dahil ang sakit," she said — she was just grateful to have her mom and Daniel's mom by her side.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
And what about Daniel as a daddy?
Sofia, Daniel, and Zoe flew back to the Philippines earlier this year, and, in February, held a private baptism for their baby girl. Sofia recently shared a video of the celebration on Instagram with celeb friends Kathryn Bernardo and Bianca King in attendance.
