The new mom had to "rest again. And again," but she was well enough to prank her husband, Nico, on her 37th week and on their estimated due date. In an Instagram video uploaded on December 29, Solenn pretended her water broke and this sent Nico in a frenzy as he tried to prepare their hospital bag.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
On New Year's Eve, Nico shared that they would be spending New Year in an unexpected place — the hospital, as they were waiting for their baby to arrive.
Solenn revealed that she was pregnant back in August 2019, choosing to have a “joint announcement” with husband Nico on Instagram. She was already four and a half months pregnant then.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
A month after, the couple announced that they are expecting a baby girl.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
In October, Nico posted a beautiful pregnant photo of his wife, along with a touching tribute, saying “it hasn’t been an easy journey for us... but the love for our baby girl and the support of our loved ones have made us overcome all the obstacles!”
Solenn replied with a similar photo of herself on her Instagram account and praised her husband for his unwavering support. "Though it is true women go through a lot of crazy changes during pregnancy, and have to be strong for the family, it wouldn’t be ‘easy’ sailing if you weren’t by my side. We’ve had some really emotional days but would have never been able to step a foot out of bed if it hadn’t been for your warm embrace even if I could see you were breaking at times," she wrote.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
She also shared a video clip showing Nico nervously administering something to her via a syringe on her belly, as she gently coached him. In the comments section, Solenn mentioned that she was being injected with an "anticoagulant" and "Innohep," a brand of anticoagulant. This made her fans wonder whether she has Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APAS), an autoimmune disorder that occurs when the body’s immune system makes abnormal antibodies that attack and damage tissues or cells.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
