1. Solenn Heussaff gets hitched in Argentina

Filipino-French actress Solenn Heussaff reportedly got married to her fiancé Nico Bolzico. The simple wedding was held in Argentina and was attended by her close friends, fellow celebrities Isabelle Daza, Georgina Wilson, and Anne Curtis. Daza shared a Snapchat video of the couple with the caption “Mr. and Mrs. Bolzico.” The two got engaged earlier this year and are already living in together. 2. Ex-Pinoy Big Brother Wendy Valdez is pregnant

The newly married and former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate is already expecting her first child. Wendy Valdez took to Instagram to share the good news. She posted a photo of the pregnancy kit that shows two lines, which means positive for pregnancy. She and her non-showbiz husband Norman Garcia tied the knot earlier this month, on December 8, at Hillcreek in Tagaytay. Wendy was previously married to fellow PBB housemate Bruce Quebral; the marriage was annulled in 2012. Congratulations! (abs-cbn.com) 

3. Perfume magnate adopts new set of twins
Joel Cruz of Aficionado Germany Perfumes introduced to the public his new adopted twins. The openly gay multi-millionaire was very happy to have his Christmas wish granted as he introduced Harry and Harvey . The twins were conceived via in vitro fertilization (IVF) and were carried to term by the same surrogate Russian mother who gave birth to his first set of twins Prince Sean and Princess Synne, whom he adopted in 2012. He brought home his new baby boys last November 28, and had them baptized recently in Tagaytay. (abs-cbn.com) 

4. New California law allows working parents more flexible hours
Governor Jerry Brown signed into law a bill that requires employers with more than 25 workers to provide up to 40 hours per year for parents to attend to family emergencies such as a sick child or a school function. The allotted 40 hours should not exceed eight hours a month, though. The law also applies to stepparents, foster parents, grandparents, and other primary caregivers of kids. 5. Hoverboard age limit to take effect
Starting January 1, anyone under the age of 16 will not be allowed to ride a Hoverboard in public roadways in California. The new law signed by its governor also requires anyone who uses a Hoverboard in public to wear a helmet, should use the bike lane and must not exceed the speed limit of 15 miles per hour. Hoverboard riders will also only be allowed to use public roads with a speed limit of 35 miles per hour. Anyone violating the new law will pay a hefty fine of $250. (nbcbayarea.com)
