Mariel and Robin Padilla weren’t really planning to conceive yet, but the TV host is now three months pregnant! Mariel revealed that she’s taking heparin shots to prevent miscarriage. “My body, my blood is attacking the baby, 'yon ang nangyayari. Iniisip niya kasi it's something foreign, so nire-reject na siya,” she explained. Mariel shared that they have already chosen names for the baby. “If it's a girl, he wants it to be [named] after me, Maria. Maria kasi ako talaga. And then if it's a boy, I will name it after him also. But because Robin's son Ali is Robinhood, Jr., so siya 'yung Junior. Kasi Robin's name is Robinhood Fernando Carino Padilla. The upcoming Star Cinema film starring Jodi Sta. Maria, Ian Veneracion, and Richard Yap now has a title. Director Antoinette Jadaone revealed in an interview that the film will be called Achy Breaky Heart, inspired by the 90s hit song by Billy Ray Cyrus. The film is about a 30-year-old woman named Chinggay, played by Sta. Maria, dealing with the stigma that comes with being single at her age. “Kasi it’s a story of Chinggay who is desperate to find love. Nasaktan sya dati sa love tapos mami-meet nya iyong dalawang babae na may issue din sa pag-ibig, so may tatlong achy breaky hearts na mami-meet sa movie,” Jadaone says. But the director promises that she’s Team Chinggay, rather than Team Richard or Team Ian. (abs-cbn.com)

Currently, the QC government is pushing for bike-related ordinances and measures so that not only cyclists, but also kids and families, can bike and walk around safely in the city.
