Kapamilya actress Beauty Gonzalez showed off her baby bump—and nothing but that!—for a maternity shoot. She shared a behind-the-scene shot on her Instagram and captioned it: “Loving the changes with my body and in my life, a good kinda fat I'm told so in a happy place I truly am. So blessed to be with the one I love for the one we love, our little Blueberry. So grateful for all the love and support from all of you, from the girl I was, to the woman I am, and for the mother I will be.” Last October, Beauty revealed on the photo-sharing site that she was expecting her first baby with non-showbiz boyfriend Norman Crisologo. The two recently had a babymoon traveling in Europe.
2. Australia will not give benefits to parents who refuse to vaccinate
The "Land Down Under" has made it official: Australian government has passed a law that requires all children to be vaccinated, or else the kids and their parents will not receive family tax and childcare benefits and rebates. These benefits could amount to USD$10,700. The bill was proposed back when the U.S. Disneyland measles outbreak was all over the news. The new law takes effect on January 1, 2016 and applies to all families. The only exception are families who have a valid medical reason to not get immunizations. 3. Moms who breastfeed can cut their risk for type 2 diabetes in half
New study suggests that breastfeeding for more than two months could help cut down by half the risk of a mother who has had gestational diabetes from developing type 2 diabetes in the future. The study, which was published in the Annals of Internal Medicine also suggests that the longer a mother breastfeeds, the lower her risk for developing the disease. However, researchers are quick to point out that there are other factors that contribute to developing type 2 diabetes.
