2. Adele is against pressure to breastfeed
The very candid singer songwriter spoke up against people who pressure mothers to breastfeed. "It's f--ing ridiculous, and all those people who put pressure on us, you can go f-- yourselves, all right? Because it’s hard. Some of us can’t do it. I managed about nine weeks with my boobs," Adele said during her concert tour stop at London's O2 Arena. She also admitted that all she wanted to do was breastfeed but couldn't. "I felt like, 'If I was in the jungle now back in the day, my kid would be dead because my milk’s gone,'" she added. She made the headline-making statements in response to Celebrity Chef Jamie Oliver's interview where he said that the U.K. had a "problem with women not breastfeeding". (ew.com)

Former Spice Girls and fashion icon Victoria Beckham posted a photo on her Instagram that shows just how lucky she and her kids are. "Harper has daddy stitching her dollies' dresses!!! We love you @davidbeckham," she wrote as caption to a photo of husband and retired soccer star David Beckham following instructions and hand-sewing tiny dresses for her little four-year-old girl's dolls. David loves being a full-time stay-at-home parent, while Victoria expands her fashion empire. And it looks like he has had the hang of daddy-hood for a while now, what with having four kids at different ages. Just wow. Salute! (babble.com)
4. Elmo lends his fame for Zika awareness
Sesame Street teamed up with the Pan American Health Organization to be able to reach out to families and educate them about the Zika virus. The mosquito-borne disease has been linked to serious birth defects such as microcephaly. In that line, the loveable Elmo will appear in two 30-second public service announcement (PSA) videos which will be aired in Latin American and the Caribbean in Spanish and Portuguese. The first video discusses hygiene and sanitation to stop mosquitoes from breeding. The second video talks about preventing mosquito bites. Too bad there is no English version... yet. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Gerber voluntarily recalled organic "2nd Foods" pouch products. The company identified a packaging defect that could result to spoilage during transport and handling. Affected variants are the 3.5 ounce pouches of Gerber Organic 2nd Foods in Pears, Carrots & Peas, and the Carrots, Apples & Mangoes, which both have best-by dates of July 13 and July 14, 2016.
