New research shows that children, from a very young age, have some sense of justice: they’ll treat others as they expect themselves to be treated. When viewing puppets stealing from each other, three-year-olds who are participants in the study want to return the stolen items to the victim puppet. 4. Preschool inside retirement home benefits both young and old
A new documentary “Present Perfect” chronicles an odd relationship pairing: At the Intergenerational Learning Center, a preschool located inside the Providence Mount St. Vincent senior care center in Seattle, both the young and old spend regular time together. More than 400 senior residents join the kids in dancing, art projects, storytelling and more. Seniors come alive when the kids come for their class.
