Top of the Morning: Ciara Sotto Opens Up About Ending Her MarriagePlus, a peek into the new Justice League movie, VP Leni Robredo against plans to lower age of criminal liability, and more!by Rachel Perez .
1. Ciara Sotto opens up about ending her marriage
During her guesting stint on ABS-CBN's Magandang Buhay, actress and pole-dance instructor Ciara Sotto opened up for the first time about her separation from husband Jojo Oconer for the latter's alleged infidelity. "Parang feeling ko lang talaga, nabastos lang ako bilang nanay, bilang katrabaho, bilang babae," she said when asked how she mustered up the courage to end the relationship. "Parang ayaw mo lang kasi na i-tolerate... Parang hindi ko lang kaya na na-disrespect ako at yung family ko," Ciara added. The estranged couple, however, are civil and, in Ciara's words, "medyo friends" for the sake of their one-year-old son Crixus. (pep.ph)
2. Kim Kardashian shares Saint West's adorable giggle
The reality star and her husband Kanye West have been keeping social media posts about son Saint West to a minimum, sharing only a handful of photos since his birth last year (similar to how she handled social media posts of her daughter North). Earlier today, Kim posted a Snapchat video of Saint giggling while comfy in his stroller. He even looks directly into the camera. Kim revealed that Saint has said the word "Dada" before he was able to say "Mama", and admits she would have wanted her son to call out "Mama" first, but Kanye was apparently already teaching his son to say Dada--and Saint did so three times on the first day! 3. VP Leni Robredo against plans to lower age of criminal liability
"Isa ako doon sa mga sumulong ng Juvenile Justice Law and I think 'yung criminal liability under the law is sufficient," Vice President Leni Robredo said to reporters after new House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez called on for the passage of three top priority bills, one of which is the lowering of the age of criminal liability from 15 years old to nine years old. She added that the current age set for criminal responsibility was deliberated on thoroughly. "Hindi naman ito something na ipinili lang natin randomly out of the numbers. Maraming dahilan kung bakit ito 'yung age of criminal liability," she said. Robredo vows to oppose any motions to lower the age of criminal liability. She is also against the proposed return of the death penalty. (gmanetwork.com)

5. New Justice League footage revealed
The first-ever trailer of the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Comics' Justice League movie debuted in the San Diego Comic Convention over the weekend. While it's not a formal trailer -- it's more like a montage of scenes that tell you how each of them were approached by Bruce Wayne to recruit them -- it is the first time we see Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) together. Justice League is set to open in theaters in June 2017. (gq.com)ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
