1. Family and friends throw Ciara Sotto a baby shower
Last February 8, family and friends shared the excitement of soon-to-be-mom Ciara Sotto with a baby shower. The singer-actress posted on Instagram snaps of “the first ever and the best ever” baby shower, and gave thanks to her parents, relatives, and family. A photo she posted this morning was taken with cousin Sharon Cuneta and was captioned "My sunshine... My only sunshine.... She makes me happy when skies are grey.... :-) I love you my Ate!!!" 2. Dad refused to abandon newborn son with Down syndrome
When Samuel Forrest of Armenia was forced to choose between his marriage and his newborn son, Leo, with Down syndrome, he chose the “beautiful baby.” Now Samuel has set up a website called GoFundMe with an original goal of raising $60,000 to allow him and his son Leo to go back to his home in New Zealand where his family are eager to meet the newborn baby. He has now raised over $350,000 and a part of the funds raised will be for orphanages and programs for abandoned babies with Down syndrome in Armenia. (yahoo.com)
