1. Dingdong Dantes posts a sneak peek of Zia's first endorsement
Doting dad Dingdong Dantes took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes photo of his wife, actress Marian Rivera, and Baby Zia, during the shoot for their daughter’s first ever commercial. "Stage fathering 101," Dingdong wrote as caption. Marian admitted that she felt a sense of pride starring alongside her daughter: "Naiiyak ako na magkasama kami sa picture tapos nag-e-endorse kami, iba pala yung pakiramdam," she said. She also revealed that Baby Zia's talent fee is bigger than her own. The little girl's earnings will go straight to the bank, of course. "Pagdating ng 18 [years old], ibibigay naming lahat ng pinaghirapan niya," she said. (pep.ph)

The multi-awarded singer and music icon shared a series of snapshots from her daughter Blue Ivy's fourth birthday last January on her website. The party for the birthday girl literally brought the pages of fairy princess storybooks to life. It featured whimsical wings on chairs, racks of dress up clothes, hanging bouquets of flowers, and teepees filled with pillows. Blue Ivy, of course, dressed the part, wearing an embellished white tank and pink tulle, Chuck Taylors, and a tiara! (people.com)
3. Krista Ranillo is pregnant with her fourth child
Former actress Krista Ranillo confirmed via an Instagram post that she is expecting her fourth baby with husband Jefferson Niño Lim. She posted a family photo last Easter Sunday and captioned it, "A blessed Easter to you and your family!! Jesus is Risen! Love, our family of six." It was a subtle announcement as the photo shows only five family members: the couple and their kids Nate Jacob, Nolan Jayden, and Natalie Lourdes. Krista, who is already based in the U.S., confirmed her pregnancy in her succeeding posts, thanking her friends for preparing the giveaways for her son Nate's birthday party since she couldn't do it due to her pregnancy. Congratulations! (pep.ph)
4. Color pencils are running out!
And it's all because of the grown-ups! The world's largest wooden pencil manufacturer Faber-Castell is having a hard time keeping up with the demands of the color pencil market because it's not only kids or professional artists who use them, but also adults who are into the coloring book craze (many use it to relieve stress). The company had to run more shifts at their factories in order to keep up. They are not the only ones, too. European manufacturers Staedtler and Stabilo are also having trouble matching the demand for color pencils as well. There's also now a demand for more variety, such as 72 to 120 colors--because 36 colors are just not enough to create coloring book masterpieces. (fatherly.com)
5. Visiting your parents is now a legal obligation in Shanghai
Starting in May, the city of Shanghai will legally bind adult kids to fulfill their moral obligation and provide spiritual comfort to their parents. Those who no longer live with their parents must "visit or send greetings often" or else face serious legal consequences. With the new law, parents can sue their adult kids, or the government can also order the kids to move back into their parents' home. Kids who neglect their aging parents could also end up in the credit blacklist where they will have trouble opening bank accounts and getting loans.
