1. Toni Gonzaga opens up about pregnancy
The actress and TV host is already on her second trimester and is close to finding out the sex of their baby. “Well, noong bata ako, pangarap ko noon na magkaroon ng kapatid na lalaki, kasi wala kaming lalaki. Si Paul naman, gusto ng babae, kasi limang lalaki sila. Kami naman, dalawang babae. So, kahit na ano,” Toni Gonzaga said in an interview with Pep.ph. While she’s doing better now, Toni revealed she really had a hard time during her first trimester, suffering from vomiting, nausea, and dizziness. “Mixed emotions ako palagi, yung hormones ko, iiyak na lang bigla, masaya. Parang luka-luka ka pala minsan kapag pregnant," she quipped. Toni has been most thankful for her husband Paul's emotional support. She said that in pregnancy, “doon mo pala talaga maa-aapreciate yung asawa mo.” (pep.ph)
2. Senate passes bill for nationwide vision screening for kindergarteners
Senate Bill 2948, sponsored by outgoing Senator Pia Cayetano, has been passed. The bill seeks to establish a National Vision Screening Program to help screen kindergarten pupils with visual problems. “It is important that vision screening tests be conducted at an early stage, precisely to prevent complications in the future,” Sen. Cayetano was quoted as saying in a statement. Under the bill, a centralized and organized program for vision screening tests across the country will be established with the help of the Department of Health and the Department of Education. 3. Disney theme park in China is set to open this June
Shanghai Disney Resort is already on a soft launch in preparation for its official opening on June 16. The massive Shanghai Disney project is the largest yet, eclipsing the theme parks in Hong Kong and Tokyo. In development since the early 2000, Shanghai Disney Resort will include two hotels, a shopping district and six themed lands--Mickey Avenue, Gardens of Imagination, Fantasyland, Adventure Isle, Treasure Cove and Tomorrowland. The park features storytelling and design features such as Shanghai's traditional Shikumen-style architecture and themes from the Chines Zodiac to appeal more to its local audience. (cnn.com)

We’ve seen all the trailers for the Disney/Pixar much-awaited film. Now, many netizens are suggesting Finding Dory will be the first Disney film to feature a lesbian couple. There have been mixed reactions on Twitter. Some love the idea, while others are calling to boycott the film. Above is the screenshot of the alleged lesbian couple (you can watch the full trailer here). To be honest, there's not much to see whether they are a couple or not. 5. Keri Russell is a mom again!
The former Felicity star has given birth to her first child with partner actor Matthew Rhys. Sources confirm that Keri and Matthew are over the moon to be new parents and are taking many photos of their baby and gifts from family and friends. The couple, who are co-stars in the series The Americans, made public their relationship in 2014.
