Top of the Morning: New Pitch Perfect 2 Trailer OutPlus news on Kristen Bell's pregnancy and the new Pitch Perfect 2 trailer is out!
1. The Pitch Perfect gang is back
Who didn’t enjoy the first movie? The first trailer for Pitch Perfect 2 has just debuted, and the girls are taking on the global acapella stage. Anna Kendrick, Britanny Snow, Anna Camp, and Rebel Wilson are all back in the sequel and they’re all in perfect harmony! It looks like it’s going to be another feel-good music-filled movie to watch for that much-needed break from the daily parenting grind. (mashable.com)
2. Realistic Barbie doll now available
The realistic Barbie doll is now out in the market. Created by Nikolai Lamm, Lammily is a brunette who has the curves of an average 19-year-old girl, as a stark contrast to Barbie’s super slim waistline. The doll even has stickers packs for cellulite, acne, stretch marks, tattoos, scars, and even cuts that you can buy separately. Do you think this will help little girls in accepting their own body image? (time.com)ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
3. Stroller recalled

Due to reports of fingertip amputation hazards, Graco voluntarily recalled nearly five million baby strollers that correspond to 11 models that were manufactured between August 2000 and September 2014, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) and Canadian and Mexican officials. Graco advises consumers to turn in their units and get a free repair kit, or use extreme care when folding and unfolding the stroller. (yahoo.com)
4. Stop texting too much!
Or at least, keep your head straight when using your gadgets. A study by New York surgeon Kenneth Hansraj shows that when you tilt your head forward 60 degrees to look at your phone, you’re putting 60 pounds of pressure on your neck —- and this leads to backaches. This may very well be applicable to kids, too, whose heads are also tilted when playing with their gadgets. (huffingtonpost.com)
5. Kristen Bell’s unique baby shower
The "Frozen" star is very pregnant, but instead of having a baby shower where friends and family shower her and her soon-to-be born baby with gifts, she arranged for a baby shower for 40 moms-to-be and donated $91,500 worth of Bravado nursing bras and Medela breast pumps. Bell, mom to Lincoln, 1, and now expecting her and husband Dax Shepard’s second child, says that offering support and care for new moms remains one of her top priorities.
