1. Look! Isabel Oli shares photos from her maternity shoot
Currently 33 weeks pregnant, the actress and mom-to-be shared photos from her maternity shoot on Instagram. Isabel Oli's pregnancy glow was clearly captured in the photos taken by Nice Print Photography. While she admitted in an earlier interview that it's not easy being pregnant, the photos show that she's just every bit excited to be a mom and finally see and hold her and husband John Prats' first child, a daughter whom they decided to name Lily Feather. 2. Catholic schools slam Marcos attempt to rewrite history
More than 1,400 Catholic schools, colleges, and universities took a stand with the Ateneo De Manila University faculty when they called out vice presidential aspirant Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. after trying to "revise" Philippine history and glorify the regime of his father, the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos. The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) said in a statement, "We refuse to forget the atrocities committed by the Marcos regime, and we renew our demand that the perpetrators of these crimes be brought to justice. With the same fervor, we cry our hearts’ out, 'never again!'" (abs-cbn.com)
3. Kraft's Macaroni and Cheese gets healthier
The company quietly rolled out new and improved versions of the classic kiddie favorite Macaroni and Cheese, sans the artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives. They did announce the move towards eliminating these ingredients last year, but just officially released the new recipe which gives the well-loved dish a less pronounced orange color. (popsugar.com)
4. Radiation blocking underwear for men
Students at Munich Business School have developed a pair of boxer shorts that can protect from mobile phone radiation and help lower the risk of infertility in men. The product is called kronjuwelen, or "crown jewels", underwear. It is woven with silver wire which is believed to block electro-magnetic radiation pulses. According to the inventors, the fabric shields the wearer from 98% of mobile phone radiations. This product is a response to a small study which claims that men who are always on their smartphones had lower sperm count. (mashable.com)
5. Another A Cinderella Story movie is underway
Remember the 2004 movie A Cinderella Story with Hilary Duff and Chad Michael Murray? Warner Bros. is making another one, but this time the title character will be played by Disney's Descendants star Sofia Carson. Cinderella Story: If The Show Fits is about a young woman who is forced to assist her evil stepmother and stepsisters in a competition but decides to audition herself. After the 2004 movie, Selena Gomez starred in the straight-to-DVD sequel Another Cinderella Story in 2008 and was followed by A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song which starred Pretty Little Liars actress Lucy Hale. Cinderella Story: If The Show Fits is set to premiere by early 2017. (variety.com)
