1. Mariel Rodriguez and Robin Padilla expecting a baby girl!
TV host Mariel Rodriguez and Robin Padilla hosted a gender-reveal party, and the couple is expecting a baby girl for their first child. The It's Showtime and PBB host remarked before that she wanted a boy. "Dati, the reason why I wanted a boy, kasi marami nang girl [na anak] si Robin. Noong nalaman ko na girl, alam mo, I realized na the baby is for me, kasi God knows na girl naman talaga ang gusto ko," she said. Robin said the gender didn't matter as long as they have a healthy baby. Mariel admitted that she was not having an easy pregnancy, but it has been fun and a blessing. Held last August 13 at the Le Jardin Manila in Bonifacio Global City, the party, which was co-hosted by Japanese stroller brand Aprica, celebrated Mariel's birthday and the couple's wedding anniversary. 2. Sunshine Dizon does not regret marrying estranged husband
In an interview with entertainment columnist Ricky Lo of the Philippine Star, Sunshine Dizon spoke about how lost and helpless she felt when she found out about her husband's alleged affair, but she did not regret marrying Timothy Tan. "I have no regrets. I got married at 27. All the pain and sacrifices are worth it, especially having my two beautiful babies," she said. She realized that she needed to endure and persevere to protect her kids. "I believe I became more open and closer to my children. In return, I received more of their love which really did strengthen me. I always believe that this will pass. And this is all part of a greater plan that God has set for me and my family." The youngest daughter of President Rodrigo Duterte has been showing off her lip-synching talent via Musical.ly, a video social app that lets users can upload 15-second videos where they can customize songs, speed, filters, and effects. Veronica, a.k.a. Kitty, had uploaded several videos of her singing Oh Wonder's Lose It, Ariana Grande's recent chart-topping hit Into You, Selena Gomez's Kill 'Em With Kindness, and even Yo Gotti and Nicki Minaj's Down in the DM. 4. Vanessa Matsunaga swears breastfeeding helped her bose post-baby weight
The model acknowledged nursing her 5-month-old daughter Isabella is hard, but she encourages moms not to give up easily. She said breastfeeding has helped her lose weight, and she even gets to eat everything she wants, her favorite part of nursing. Vanessa also credited her daily motherhood duties in helping her lose weight. "When you take care of your baby, you’re constantly moving and you don’t sleep much. I think everything contributes for you to just lose weight and be back to your sexy shape," she told Pep.ph at the opening of Naxional South American Diner. According to an Instagram post by child dancing sensation John Phillip Bughaw, a.k.a. Balang, he was now an honorary certified Zumba instructor. He just came from the 2016 Zumba Instructor Convention in San Diego, California where he met Beto Perez, founder of the Zumba dance exercise program. "Dream come true! I am now a Zumba instructor. Thank you @zumba," he wrote as caption. The 7-year-old dancing sensation guested on Ellen DeGeneres' show a few times and has been busy attending events abroad and showcasing his awesome dancing skills.
