1. Iya Villania and Drew Arellano are pregnant!
The excited soon-to-be parents both announced on Easter Sunday via their Instagram posts that they already have a bun in the oven. "I found an EGG... and FERTILIZED it! Hahahahaha! Wohoooooooo! Happy Easter it is!" Drew wrote as his caption for a photo of him pointing to a drawing of an egg on Iya's belly. Iya, on the other hand, posted the same photo and captioned it with a "Happy Easter" greeting. They also used the hashtags #EggSpecting, #Eggscited, and #ComingSoon. The two have been very vocal about trying for a baby since the year started. They have been married for two years. (pep.ph)

3. Pope Francis's Easter message champions love
The Pope encouraged everyone to use "weapons of love" to fight the evil of "blind and brutal violence" of terrorist attacks such as the one that struck Brussels recently. "May he (the risen Jesus) draw us closer on this Easter feast to the victims of terrorism, that blind and brutal form of violence which continues to shed blood in different parts of the world," Pope Francis said, speaking from the central balcony of St. Peter's Basilica. ""With the weapons of love, God has defeated selfishness and death," he added. The Pope, as well heads of different countries around the globe including the Philippines, had condemned the terrorist attack in Brussels that killed more than 30 people and injured several others.
