2. Zootopia gets a new trailer
One of the Disney offerings this year just released its second trailer. Zootopia is supposed to be a placr where predators and prey coexist peacefully. But the city's new and first-ever bunny officer Judy Hoops (voiced hy Ginnifer Goodwin) finds out what happens when someone goes savage. This looks fun! Zootopia premieres in theaters this March. 3. The Pope's message for the New Year
"These signs of love can't and mustn't be obscured by the tyranny of evil," Pope Francis said in his New Year message. He reminds people to always look for the good in every situations--and that these signs of love will always prevail over greed and power. 4. Nine year old boy first to get testicular tissue frozen
Nathan Crawford, 9 years old, from Cornwall in the U.K., needs chemo and radiotherapy for his cancer and he was the first one to have his testicular tissue frozen. The procedure will help have a significant chance of still having kids after getting his cancer treatment that could leave him sterile. Doctors hope to implant his frozen tissue when he is a teenager. A woman gave birth earlier this year after using the same technology; she was inplanted with her frozen ovarian tissue. 5. American Girl doll gets a new add-on
Kids with diabetes can now buy a deparate disbetes kit to go with their Amrican Doll. After getting diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, Anje Busse, then 11 years old, from Antigo, Wisconsin, started a Change.org campaign asking American Girl to make diabetic accessories for dolls, so kids like her could have a toy to relate to. The kits are already available in toy stores starting today. It includes a blood sugar monitor, insulin pump and lancet. (yahoo.com)
