2. Baby Scarlet Snow has been on Ellen!
We only came to know about this adorable little girl barely two weeks ago, but it turns out she's already had her share of celebrity. Scarlet has been on Ellen DeGeneres's talk show -- her photo when she was 2 months old, anyway -- which made it to the baby wall during the show's Mother's Day special. This is apparently Scarlet Snow's first "TV appearance", but so far she's also been on CNN's Leading Women when they featured her mom, Dr. Vicki Belo. (pep.ph)
3. Senate okays anti-age discrimination bill
Senate Bill No. 29, or the Anti-Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 2016, has now been passed in the Senate. The bill bans employers from printing or publishing in any form of media, including online, any notice or ad suggesting preferences, limitations, specifications and discrimination based on age. It also prohibits discrimination based on age by employment agencies or recruitment centers and for labor unions. The bill also disallows withholding the promotion or denying training opportunities, compensation, and privileges merely on the basis of age. Employers who don't comply would be fined any amount between P20,000 and P200,000, or be imprisoned for up to two years. (inquirer.net)

5. Is this the world's heaviest baby?
India 'heaviest baby' weighs 15lb https://t.co/ezbrOBgLRB— BBC Health News (@bbchealth) May 26, 2016
A 15-pound baby has been born to nineteen-year-old Nandini and her husband Arun. This is their firstborn. Doctors say the baby girl, who was delivered via C-section, is now the heaviest baby in India. Currently, the world record for the heaviest baby at birth is held by Carisa Rusak of Massachusetts who weighed 14 pounds and five ounces when she was born in 2014. Doctors says it's a surprise because the mom's pregnancy was very healthy and didn't have any sugar level issues that could have caused the weight. The baby girl is now being monitored in the hospital's neonatal intensive care unit, and mom Nandi hopes she and her baby would be discharged in a few days.
