The new Yes! Magazine cover girl recently joined her mom Marian Rivera, her lola, and her great grandmother for some quality bonding time. Adorable little Baby Zia is all smiles in the photo posted by Marian on her Instagram account. The Kapuso Primetime actress regularly posts photos with the most important women in her life, including husband Dingdong's mother, but this is the first time that her daughter joins in the photo. Marian is excited for things to come, including her new Yan Ang Morning! talk show on GMA7 with Boobay, the new Encantadia remake where she plays Ynang Reyna, and of course, the debut of Baby Zia's first TV commercial this month. 3. COMELEC allows mall polls for select voters
More than 230,000 votes will be casting their ballots in select malls this coming May 9. According to Comelec chairman Andres Bautista, the commission is allowed to designate other polling places aside from schools which serve as polling areas to decongest and provide an easier and better voting experience to help increase ballot turnout. Persons with disabilities and senior citizens will be prioritized in 86 mall voting precincts located at SM Supermalls, Ayala Malls, Robinsons Malls, Gaisano Grand Malls, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, Pacific Malls/Metro Gaisano, WalterMart Community Malls, and Fisher Mall. 5. New MRT line breaks ground
The new Metro Rail Transit Line 7 (MRT 7) which will connect Quezon City and the province of Bulacan finally broke ground on Wednesday. The P69.3-billion project is expected to finish by 2020 and aims to service 850,000 passengers daily. It will have a total of 14 stations, which will be connected to the North Edsa/Trinoma station. The stations will be situated along Quezon-North Avenue, Quezon Memorial Circle, University Avenue, Tandang Sora, Don Antonio, Batasan, Manggahan, Doña Carmen, Regalado, Mindanao Avenue, Quirino, Sacred Heart, Tala and San Jose del Monte. Along with the MRT7, a highway will also be constructed from North Luzon Expressway to San Jose Del Monte. (inquirer.net)
