1. Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes celebrate first wedding anniversary

Yesterday, December 30, 2015, the Kapuso powerhouse couple marked their first year of marriage. Marian Rivera and DIngdong Dantes both took to Instagram to celebrate. Marian posted a throwback photo of their wedding and captioned it, “Ang sarap alalahanin ang araw na ito kung saan sa harap ng Panginoon, ikaw ay aking pinangakuang mahalin, aalagan, at pagsilbihan hangga't ako'y nabubuhay- sa hirap at ginhawa. Isang biyaya ng pagmamahalan na habambuhay kong ipagpapasalamat. Happy Anniversary Mahal ko. I Love You!” Dingdong, on the other hand, posted a photo of Marian taken on their wedding day and shared the lyrics of "Mestizang Caviteña", a song he co-wrote with Janno Gibbs. The couple also posted photos of how they spent they day with Baby Letizia in their favorite hangout spot in Tagaytay. Happy anniversary!

2. Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach gets Disney-fied

After getting her own fan-made doll, in four different outfits, Miss Universse 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach got Disney-fied. Wutrzbach was drawn by Disney artist Jimmy Mulligan, who portrayed her as a Disney Princess from the hit movie Frozen. She was so happy to get the Disney treatment via an artwork, as she has always said that she’s a big Disney fan. Now she’s a Disney princess, complete with, of course, a crown. (pep.ph) 

3. Smallest surviving preemie is finally going home
E’Layah Faith Pegues was born only at 14 weeks gestation on Sept. 23 and weighed just 10 ounces. She holds the record for the smallest surviving baby born at the Carolina’s Medical Center’s Levine Children’s Hospital in the U.S.On December 29, her original due date, her parents Megan Smith and Eric Pegues received a most welcome news: They will be able to bring home their now-three-month-old bundle of joy in a week of two. The miracle baby now weighs three pounds and 10.7 ounces, and is doing so well. Thanks to a combination of formula and breast milk, and NICU doctors’ care, E’Layah is not just surviving but thriving. Bristol Palin shared an adorable smiling photo of her daughter Sailor Grace. She captioned it simply with “so in love.” Her mom, republican politician Sarah Palin called the birth of her new granddaughter “the best gift ever.” "Thank you, Bristol, for your strength and good heart and your love of life. The most important people in Bristol's life were there to witness the miracle of Sailor Grace Palin's arrival last night. Thank you for sharing the miracle with Piper, Marina, and me, Bri!" Sarah wrote on Bristol's blog. Bristol’s former fiance Dakota Meyer may have confirmed that he is indeed the father when he tweeted a photo of Sailor and captioned is, “Best Christmas present ever!”

5. Patricia Javier and husband renew wedding vows

Singer actress Patricia Javier celebrated her and husband American chiropractic doctor Robert Walcher 10th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows with a Christian wedding held at the Azure Urban Resort Residences in Paranaque. "I'm so thankful to God kasi talagang you're the one that I will always pray for," she told Walcher. "Thank you so much for all the support, for embracing Philippines, and for being here with my family.
