Actress Jennifer Aniston recently spoke about the pressure people put on her as a woman in an interview for Allure magazine. She shares that it’s not easy to shake off the criticisms, including those which accuse her of being so career-driver and focused on herself that she doesn’t want to be a mother, and how selfish that is. “I don’t think it’s fair, You may not have a child come out of your vagina, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t mothering dogs, friends, friends’ children," the 45-year-old actress said. 4. Smoking alert
There are fewer teens in the U.S. who smoke tobacco, but more teens may be switching to electronic cigarettes, or e-cigs. Results of a federally-funded survey shows that the number of smoking teenagers in the 8th, 10th, and 12th grades has been cut in half, but more than one in six high school seniors and almost as many sophomores smoke electronic cigarettes. The switch is attributed to these teenagers believing that vaping with e-cigs is safer than smoking tobacco, which it is not. (time.com)
5. English town turns into one big advent calendar
A whole English town is turned into a really big advent calendar. During advent, a new window, each with a unique design, is illuminated in a different house each evening until December 25th. The idea started a few years ago, and since then, 200 houses have been part of the town’s advent calendar. This year’s window light display includes designs inspired by the movie "Frozen".
