1. Look at Baby Zia's beautiful smile!
After having their first date post-baby, actor-producer Dingdong Dantes shared a heartwarming Instagram photo of his daughter Baby Zia all smiles as mom actress Marian Rivera was shown talking to her. Dingdong captioned the photo, "Happy birthday, Lolo!" as Baby Zia was propped near a painting of Dingdong's dad. Marian also posted the same smiling photo on her Instagram account. Baby Zia is two months old and will be baptized in February. (gmanetwork.com)
2. Zika virus outbreak now an international public health emergency
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the Zika virus outbreak a global health emergency. This is the highest level of alert for the WHO and would hopefully direct more funding and manpower to fight the virus. The Zika virus is reportedly linked to the rise of cases of babies with microcephaly, a condition that leads to smaller than usual heads and neurological conditions. Women who may have been were exposed to the virus are advised to delay pregnancy. (mashable.com)
3. Youngest conjoined twins separated successfully
Eight-day-old conjoined twin girls Lydia and Maya, who were also born prematurely, were successfully separated by doctors in the University Hospital in Switzerland in December, according to Swiss media reports. Lydia and Maya were joined at the liver and chest and weighed four pounds and 14 ounces combined. While operations like these usually wait until after the babies are three to six months, sharing a liver proved more dangerous for the girls. After five hours, the operation, which usually had a one-percent chance, was carried out successfully. (yahoo.com)

For the first time, toy company Lego will be incorporating a young man using a wheelchair in one of its new set called "Fun in the Park". The new set, which also includes a guide dog, was spotted at the Nurumberg Toy Fair in Germany and also at the London Toy Fair. This is in response to the campaign #ToyLikeMe which calls for toy companies to be more inclusive for children with disabilities. Nonprofit organizations rallying for the campaign urged more toy companies to follow suit. The new toy will be available in the market in June. (cnn.com)

The movie also features Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Stephen Fry as the Chesire Cat, Michael Sheen as the White Rabbit, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, and Sasha Baron Cohen as Time.
