1. Sesame Street introduces new character, a muppet girl with autism
Introducing Julia, a muppet with autism, is part of a new initiative called "Sesame Street and Autism: See Amazing in All Children." The initiative is geared towards families and communites with young kids ages two to five and aims to create awareness and greater empathy, and reduce the stigma that comes with te coondition. Julia's introduction to the long-running children's show also comes with a free downloadable app with videos and digital story cards designed to make daily life tasks easier for children with autism.
2. Olivia Wilde captures the perfect parent selfie
Actrss Olivia Wilde, mom to one-year-old Otis who she shares with husband actor Jason Sudekis, recently shared a selfie that proves she's just a regular mom, just like any other mom. She captioned the Instagram photo, "I call this hairstyle, 'keep the kid alive. Products you'll need: sweat, string cheese, diaper rash cream, chewed up crayon, snot, and an enthusiastic spritz of panic." The actress, who was photographed while breastfeeding in Glamour magazine in September last year, has been very candid about her being a mom. What do you think? Seems legit. 3. Mediterranean diet linked to healthier aging brain
Adapting a Mediterranean dietm, one that's rich in fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, fish, and healthy fast may be the key to having a youthful brain as one ages. Researchers focused on elderly people with normal cognitive function, and found that a diet rich in fish helps maintain brain health. The study also showed that eating less meat is associated with larger total brain volume. In the past, a Mediterranean diet has been linked to improve memory and reduce the risks of developing Alzheimer's disease and other degenerative conditions. (reuters.com)

After teasing throughout "Back To The Future Day" yesterday, October 21, Nike officially launched Nike Mag sneakers will have the same power laces from the movie. The shoe is a limited edition model that will first be sold via auction next year with all the proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. The new "smart shoes" could be just the first of its kind. The news, however, did not say if the shoes will be avaiable to the public.

5. Michael Buble reveals he's having another son
The singer recently announced that he and his wife, Luisina Lopilato, is expecting another baby boy. The news comes after they announced that they are pregnant in July. He quips that his wife has vetoed his name suggestions Spider-man and Thor. The two are already parenst to two-year-old son Noah, who helped announce the pregnancy news via an adorable video. The crooner also hinted that he misses having a baby that he might just not stop at having two kids. (people.com)
