Reality TV's first family -- the Gutierrezes -- welcomed baby Aria into the Christian world, and parents Elvis Gutierrez and Alexa Uichico couldn't be happier. It took the couple a while before they were blessed with a little bundle of joy, so Aria's arrival is truly an early Christmas gift. Baby Aria made her debut in the reality show "It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez!" earlier this week. Earlier this year, it was Richard and Sarah Lahbati's turn to introduce their son, baby Zion, to the public via the same reality show. (pep.ph)

    2. This boy is the youngest computer whiz
The youngest person to ace the Microsoft Certified Professional exam is a six-year-old British boy named Ayan Qureshi. He took and passed the test when he was only five years old (previously, the distinction was held by a six-and-a-half year old boy). Now he spends two hours a day learning about operating systems and installing programs at his own computer lab at home, which includes a network he built himself.  (bbc.com)

    3. More video games make better learners?
A new study published in the journal Proceedings of the National Sciences shows that playing action video games helps improve a player’s learning capabilities. Gamers are better learners because playing fast-paced action video games helps the brain develop correct templates of situations for predicting what might happen next. Results also show that the positive effects of gaming have long-term effects. (yahoo.com)

    4. Want some Peanuts?

A year from now, the kids of today will want to see Charlie Brown and the rest of the adorable Peanuts gang in the big screen. The newly-released first ever trailer features Snoopy and Woodstock, in their CGI animated versions, having fun at what they do best—day dreaming! It’s time to bring out the old comic books or watch old episodes on YouTube because a year is too long a wait for kids. (mashable.com)

    5. Here comes the real hoverboard
Heads up, parents: The hoverboard from the "Back to the Future" movies is finally here and it works! Professional skateboarder Tony Hawk tested it for the first time and it seems legit—it wasn’t a smooth ride as it is his first time, after all. Marty McFly will be thrilled. (boredpanda.com)
