Following the wedding of actress Cristine Reyes and Ali Khatibi last January 27, NicePrint Photos has released the official video of the momentous occasion which was highlighted by the couple's wedding vows, with breathtaking sceneries as the backdrop. Part of Ali's vow reads, "For 29 years ... the road I have taken has always been safe and sure, and I never wanted it to end or to change. But God has a funny way of dealing with things. God sent me the greatest match of my life; he sent me you." In her vows, Cristine said, "Ikaw ang nagpakita sa akin ng totoong kahulugan ng pag-ibig. Dahil ang pag-ibig ay hindi lang puro masaya, ang pag-ibig ay mahirap din." The intimate wedding, which was attended by only a handful of family members and close friends, was held in Balesin island. 2. Tyra Banks is a new mom
Former supermodel Tyra Banks, 42, took to Instagram to share the news that she and boyfriend Erik Asla are new parents to baby boy York. The photo showed a baby's bonnet and was captioned, "The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here. He's got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik's mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world." 4. First Zika virus case in Los Angeles, California confirmed
The dreaded Zika virus has reached the U.S. state of California as Los Angeles reports its first confirmed case. The World Health Organization has said that "The level of alarm is extremely high" and has called for an emergency meeting. The mosquito-borne Zika virus has been linked to the birth of babies with microcephaly, a brain abnormality. (people.com)
