After month of being on lockdown, Intramuros tourist spots Fort Santiago, Casa Manila, and Baluarte De San Diego are finally open.
"These are the first three areas because they are open public spaces," says Atty. Guiller B. Asido of the Intramuros Administration.
At the moment, they are limited to visitors who are between 15 to 65 years old. Only a few people are allowed at a time.
"There's a capacity requirement of a hundred people at a time," Asido said.
"For Casa Manila, the capacity is 15 people at a time."
He also said, for the past two days that Intramuros has been opened, about 500 people visit per day.
To ensure the safety of visitors, Intramuros is strictly implementing safety measures before entering and while inside the tourist spots.
