On her birthday, May 26, Valerie “Bangs” Garcia shared the sex of her soon-to-arrive baby. The 30-week preggo mom is having another baby girl. She is due to give birth in July 2020.
“We are having another girl!” Bangs wrote on Instagram. “Hooray! We are having another princess in the family! We can’t wait to meet her in less than two months!” she added.
Bangs’s gender reveal announcement came with a do-it-yourself gender reveal photo shoot. Her husband, London-based businessmen, Lloyd Birchmore, took the photos (lots of it for lots of options).
Bangs wore an off-shoulder, cropped top, and sat in their bathtub filled with one unicorn balloon and lots of pink balloons. “You’ll never go wrong in the bath,” she said when choosing the best spot at home to take a photo. For the backdrop, she bought a matching clouds and balloons backdrop on eBay.
The preggo mama held balloon letters that spelled out the word “girl” for the gender reveal announcement sign. Bangs’s 2-year-old daughter Amelia wore a pink and white dress as she joined her in the tub and held up the sign.

“I remember 90% of you guys said that I am having a boy and that you were definite about it,” Bangs shared. “Even my family and I thought that I was having a boy [because] I showed loads of superstition and physical ‘signs,’ too!” she revealed.
But her gender reveal announcement proved that nothing and no one could really predict the gender of a baby inside the womb based on eyeing the mother’s tummy.
As it turns out, Bangs and Llyod already know early on that they’re welcoming another baby girl. “It was fun guessing and hearing your thoughts, though!” the preggo mama said.
