Vina Morales Had Her Egg Cells Frozen, Calls It An InvestmentPlus, Sunshine Cruz calls out Cesar Montano for neglecting daddy duties. And you have to see Nikka Garcia's five generations photo!by Rachel Perez .
Vina Morales invests in having her eggs frozen
The single mom is not closing her doors on giving her nine-year-old daughter Ceana a sibling. Vina Morales revealed to Pep.ph that she had her eggs frozen, and treats it like an investment because of its high cost.
"Suwerte ako, I was able to save seven, healthy siya," the 43-year-old singer-actress said. "Yung seven eggs ko hindi ko pa rin masasabi kasi kung minsan hindi mabubuo," she added. She's confident that in the future she could still get pregnant. "Basta at least meron akong na-save... gusto ko lang talaga may healthy eggs," she stressed.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Vina has been giving her daughter hints that she wants her to be a big sister. But while Ceana welcomes the idea, she isn't too excited about it. "Siyempre nasanay na siya na siya lang for nine years, lahat ng atensiyon ko [sa kanya], Vina said.
Sunshine Cruz calls out Cesar Montano for neglecting his dutiesADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
According to Sunshine, her estranged husband Cesar Montano has abandoned his duties as a father to their three children. Despite this, the solo mom is doing everything she can to provide for her kids, which she said has always been the case.
"Di na nga sinusunod ang utos ng court na share niya sa three kids, ever since naman ganun," Sunshine told Pep.ph. The 41-year-old actress also shared that her daughters Angelina Isabelle, Samantha Angeline, and Angel Franchesca have a hard time reaching their father, and that they always have to course everything through his secretary. And even then, it takes days or weeks to get a reply (still through Cesar's secretary). "Seen-zoned lagi ang mga bata sa tatay," she said.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Sunshine believes that as a father, Cesar should know and fulfill his responsibilities even without the court's orders. She is already in the process of taking legal action. "Utos na nga ng korte, di pa niya sundin, samantalang siya naman ang nagbigay sa korte ng mga supposed kaya lang niyang ibigay sa mga kids," Sunshine explained.
"Doing this for the kids. It's time to do what is right for my children," she added. Her daughters, she shared, have not yet lost hope.
LOOK: Nikka Garcia's amazing 'five generations' photoADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
"Priceless" is how Nikka, mom of three, described one of her posts on Instagram: a photo of five generations of Martinez ladies: her mom Mikki Martinez, her great-grandma Florence, her grandma/nuna Che, and her three daughters, Michelle, 6, Patrice, 2, and Pia, who's turning 1 in December.
The wife of Patrick Garcia describes her great-grandmother, who is turning 95 in October, as still "very energetic," "incredibly strong," and "so hilarious." But what captured the eye of netizens is how youthful looking they all are in the photo.
"You, your mom, and your grandma would pass as sisters!" one person wrote in the comments. "Meron ba kayong fountain of youth?" another asked. "Ang babata ng mga mukha nila, wondering kung ano secret nila to look young ang family mo," another wrote in the comments.
Lucy Torres-Gomez shares constant advice to daughter Juliana
In a few days, the only child of Lucy Torres-Gomez and Richard Gomez will be turning 18. It's a different kind of parenting they will have to employ now that Julianna will be reaching adulthood on September 8.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Lucy shared that raising their daughter has been sort of a dance between her and her husband. "[Richard] had to adjust to me, and I had to adjust to him. If I had my way, it would all be ‘No, no, no’ kasi growing up in the province is different," she told Pep.ph. Raised in Ormoc, Leyte, the 43-year-old congresswoman had a different upbringing from her husband's.
Now that Julianna is turning 18, what Lucy wants her to remember is that she should choose kindness above all. "I've always taught her that the sun shines for everyone. Kindness has to be a priority," she said. "More than being the best or the first or the top, it’s more important that you build relationships, that you nurture relationships—that you’re a good person," Lucy stressed.
Gelli believes sending his sons to study in Canada has its benefitsADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Gelli de Belen and Ariel Rivera's sons recently spent their summer vacation here in the Philippines. The couple had decided to send the boys, Joaqui and Julio, to study in Canada. If she had reservations about it then, Gelli doesn't regret their decision now.
"Kung meron man akong pinagpapasalamat, ang laki ng pinagbago nilang dalawa simula nang tumira sila dun," the mom of two told Pep.ph. "Siyempre, hindi mo naman masisisi dahil nandiyan ako, may pagka-spoiled. Pero ngayon, independent na sila, may pagka-responsible. Lalo na yung panganay," Gelli added.
The mom of two doesn't mind, however, that her sons are already in the dating scene. "Basta kailangan lang talaga yung focus nila yung pag-aaral," Gelli stressed. She shared what Ariel would tell the boys: "Focus on whatever you need to focus and finish it. The girls will always be there and if you have something to stand for, meaning nakapagtapos ka ng pag-aaral, mas maraming girls.'"ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
