UPDATE: Typhoon Tisoy is expected to make landfall in Bicol tonight or tomorrow. Signal no. 3 is now currently up in Catanduanes. 

Early this morning, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) sent an emergency SMS alert as Signal no. 2 went up in Quezon (Polilio Islands), Marinduque, Romblon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar and Biliran.

As of 7:40 a.m., today, Signal no. 2 was also up in Laguna, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, and Masbate (Ticao and Burias Islands), according to the NDRRMC.
