Winwyn Marquez is pregnant with her first child. The actress and beauty queen made the announcement on her vlog earlier today, December 18, 2021.
"I know it’s been a while," she began. "Di ko alam kung napansin n’yo, but I took a break for some time. Nagpahinga muna ako saglit due to personal reasons and kasama na rin doon, of course, health reasons.
"I really want to share din sa inyo kung anong nangyari sa akin, so…I made this video to explain what happened to me. I wanna show it in a form of a clip para ma-explain na rin sa inyo."
The series of video clips showed how Winwyn broke the news to her partner, whose name she didn't mention, and then to their loved ones.
In the clip with Winwyn's mother Alma Moreno, via a video call, she was asked, "Buntis ka?" She just said, "Lola ka na ulit." But the veteran actress corrected her, "Ah, hindi, Mama Ness lang."
Alma's real name is Venessa Lacsamana, nicknamed Ness. That's the inspiration behind the second part in Winwyn's full real name, Teresita Ssen.
In the next clip, Winwyn is shown paying her dad Joey Marquez a visit and personally handing over the pregnancy test result. Right away, she got a warm embrace, but the veteran comedian quickly lightened up the mood with his antics.
Towards the end of her vlog, Winwyn expressed her true feelings: "I am so happy. Me and my partner are so happy. My family, everyone, super saya namin."
