Have you ever tried driving your kid around to get them to sleep quickly? It's called “dream driving” and apparently, this is also effective for sleep-deprived adults!
A local travel agency in Hong Kong, Ulu tours, began offering a sleeping bus tour where passengers are only headed to dreamland. It is meant for people who find it difficult to sleep at home but find it easy to doze off during the commute.
"When we were brainstorming new tours, I saw a social media post from my friend saying that he was stressed out by his work, he couldn't sleep at night. But when he was traveling on the bus, he was able to sleep well. His post inspired us to create this tour that lets passengers just sleep on the bus," ulu tours' marketing and business manager said.
ulu tours' sleeping bus tour features a five-hour ride with tickets ranging from $13 to $51 per person. Each sleepy passenger will also receive a goodie bag with an eye mask and earplugs to cap off the sleep experience. So far, it has been a success, and tickets were sold out for the first ride.
