Want To Travel To South Korea But Have No Visa Yet? Here's What You Can Do

(SPOT.ph) News came out on March 3 that South Korea is opening Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province to visa-free travel. This officially starts on March 15, and Korea Tourism Organization finally released the details of visa-free entry. Muan International Airport is the third regional airport, after Yangyang and Jeju, to accept Filipino tourists without a visa. The implementation period runs until March 31, 2024.

How to Travel to Muan International Airport, South Korea Without a Visa

According to the Korea Tourism Office, only nationals of three Asian countries (Vietnam, Philippines, and Indonesia) who booked a tour program from a designated travel agency can enter Muan International Airport visa-free.

They should be scheduled to fly in and out of Muan International Airport on the same direct flight with a tour group of five or more people.

If you enter through Muan International Airport, you are allowed to travel to South Jeolla Province, North Jeolla Province, Gwangju Metropolitan City, and Jeju Island without a visa.

Eligible travelers are given the Tourist/Transit Visa (B-2-94), which allows them to stay for 15 days.
