After two years of hampered growth in the tourism industry, airline companies are looking at 2022 with restored hope as more and more people are excited to go places again. Month-long seat sales, hard-to-resist deals, and discounts are announced frequently, much to the delight of travelers.

airasia, for their part, launched a subscription plan that allows subscribers to fly anywhere with unlimited flight redemption for both domestic and international destinations. SUPER+, as it is called, is priced at Php6,599 with validity from April 11, 2022 to April 10, 2023. It is on sale until April 2.

SUPER+ subscribers get access to a special dashboard on airasia Super App or through the website. This shows exclusive perks, including free AirAsia flights that are marked 100% off and COVID travel insurance.

Note that the subscription only covers the base fare. Customers still have to pay for the flight's optional add-ons, passenger service charges, regulatory service charges, departure levies, fuel surcharges, and other charges set by international airports, if any. These additional fees are payable at the time of redemption and booking.

How to register for airasia's SUPER+:

• Log on to the airasia Super App or on airasia.com.
• Select the SUPER+ icon and click "Subscribe now."
• Follow the prompt and pay online (credit/debit card, online banking, or virtual wallet).
• Wait for your confirmation e-mail.

How to redeem free flights from airasia:

• Head to your SUPER+ dashboard by clicking the SUPER+ icon on the app or website.
• Tap "Go," which is next to "Flights."
• Once your subscription plan's promo code is auto-generated, just click "Redeem."
• Key in your travel details (location and dates) and search for flights.
• Go through the search results and select those labeled "100% off."
• Select your relevant add-ons.
• Pay for extra fees and charges.
