Those who have picked Singapore (where no visa is required for Filipinos) as their family vacation destination for the upcoming long weekend (that begins on March 29 of Holy Week) are in for a treat at Changi Airport. Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird and the rest of the gang of Sesame Street have set up an inflatable playground, a pop-up exhibit, and lots of freebies for kids.
Located at the Terminal 3 Departure Check-in Hall (near Row 11) at the airport, it will be hard to miss the Inflatable Fun with Sesame Street playground. Bright, colorful and bouncy, the playground has a ball pit, a slide, and a kiddie obstacle course (tunnel crawls and wall climbs!).
It also features two giant Elmo and Cookie Monster toy vending machines (a.k.a. Gachapons). Drop a coin and it dispenses a Sesame Street-themed capsule with a prize inside.
Head to Terminal 3 Basement 2 for the Sesame Street pop-up exhibit. Take a stroll down Sesame Street where the kids can help Cookie Monster count his cookies, listen in awe as Elmo explains how planes fly or try to catch Oscar the Grouch peeking out of his trash can.

See if you can win any of the limited-edition merchandise there too, from plush toys to backpacks. If not, they can also be bought.
Kids will also be given Sesame Street-themed Passport to Fun this month. Just like a real one, it gets stamped for every Sesame Street-themed attraction your little one visits. At participating restaurants, every kiddo diner will also receive a free activity booklet.
The Sesame Street pop-up exhibit, which is open to all, will be at Changi Airport from March 9 to May 1. The inflatable playground, on the other hand, is open every day from March 9 to March 18, and on Fridays to Sundays on March 23 to April 8. To get the passes for the playground, just redeem two same-day receipts with a minimum spend of S$60 or Php2,400 (S$80 for supermarkets) from any Changi Airport shopping or dining outlets.
