So making it a weekend getaway has become a tradition for many families. As far as accommodations go, you have a lot of options, from hotels and resorts to bed-and-breakfasts and Airbnb. It's great to be pampered once in a while, and hotels are the way to go when to comes to just taking it easy. Everything you need to have a good time is on-premises — you have room service, warm and accommodating staff, and they most likely have something fun for the kids in line with the season or some upcoming special holiday.

    TOP PICK: Hotel Kimberly
Consistently top-rating on TripAdvisor, Hotel Kimberly has done an outstanding job in repositioning its itself as the most kid-friendly hotel in Metro Tagaytay. It has comfortable rooms, an excellent in-house restaurant cafe, and some of the most courteous and best-trained hotel staff Tagaytay City has to offer.

And there are a lot of the fun things your kids can do — playgrounds, swimming pools, and a backyard farm with all sorts of animals.

Your little ones can join in on the daily feeding schedules supervised by the groundskeepers.  On some nights, they even have bonfires for roasting s'mores, and outdoor movies complete with snacks for the kids.
