^i think hindi naman siya nagtaas just this year. Kasi my daughter's bday was October last year and shipping to QC (Diliman area lang) is Php750 na. Mahal lang talaga ang shipping fee niya. Pero relatively cheaper pa din ang expenses if you'll get your cake from her, masarap na, edible layers pa, ok naman sa design rin. :)

Hi sis happybroomstick,

Ms Jhen was my supplier for my baby's birthday last Sunday. Picked up the cake in her place sa Marilao, since malapit lang kami sa kanila.

May negative comment lang ako. Lumundo kasi yung cake ko sa gilid. Natunaw ba yung design sa gilid. Hindi ko nga alam kung bakit eh, sa una, matutuwa ka sa design kasi maganda talaga pero if you'll look closely, sira yung gilid part kasi nga natunaw yung icing or bumagsak yung pinka design niya. I'll post pix of the actual cake.

Pero in terms of lasa, comparable siya sa red ribbon or much better.

^
ano yung icing sa cake mo? fondant or marshmallow icing? ang alam ko kasi if hindi airconditioned ang area mas maganda if fondant icing ang gamit sa cake. may tendency kasi na malusaw yung icing if marshmallow. naitanong ko yun kasi at na-ipost din dito sa smart parenting. for airconditioned area, mas ok ang marshmallow icing if hindi airconditioned, fondant icing.

nangyari rin sa 1st bday cake ng anak ko yun last year. di kasi airconditioned yun area kaya bumagsak yun icing sa gilid pero iniexpect ko na yun.[/color]

^^sorry sis, I don't know eh. Hehe.

Here's the pic:

:( sobrang nakakainis!
