yes, it's perfectly normal! in fact, i call my mama as "super pakialamera"! hehe...
she'd meddle with the feeding, bathing, giving medicines, disciplining, etc. but still she respects and salutes the way i handle my kids. i just consider her blah-blahs as just suggestions though sometimes, it's getting to my nerves.
mama knows i subscribe to smart parenting and good housekeeping magazines, as well as, read various books. she knows my kids are well disciplined and that i've given them all the best of my time. she knows how hands-on i am with them. but then, i guess they just can't stop themselves from giving comments.
when they see us on our best parenting stance, they also feel proud that they've done well in raising us up; therefore, the more they give their insights because they feel that their parenting styles have worked.
