It's martial law at home that the kids should be in bed by 8:45pm on school nights by 9pm they'd be asleep na or a little after that.  Since I wake them up between 5:30 and 5:45 AM to get them ready for school, I get to make sure they're able to have 8 hours sleep.

my 7 months old daughter usually sleeps at 5 pm and wakes up at 5 am. She sleeps straight at night. Her time of sleep changes when she reaches 6 months old. Sleeping with just a lamp on is very effective to her. She serves as my alarm clock in the morning since I frequently get up at 5 am to prepare for work. :D

i dont know if this is normal..my 4 mo old baby kc sleeps straight at night, most of the time i just need to feed her with 2oz kc kaaawa naman..mas gusto niya pa matulog kesa magmilk eh.. mine too effective to use only a lamp on during bed time.. when shes aware na dim lights na she's closing her eyes na..  ;) my only problem with my little yesh is that when i got up from bed she's awake na kaagad..  :) :) :)

;D wala ka naman diba problem sa baby mo pag gabi kc as u've said, tuloy tuloy na tulog niya sa gabi.maybe one factor is may katabi siya matulog?babies need good amounts of sleep, day and night for brain development and physical recuperation.try lowering sounds and lights to help baby sleep much longer..hope this helps.  :)

sleeping patterns ng baby ko ngayon,(5 months na siya),if he goes to sleep later than 9pm at night, around 8-9am na gisng niya in the morning.if he goes to sleep at 9pm,wake up nyan mga 7-8am. he takes three naps a day,one in the morning, around 10-11am(mas matagal pag maaga gising niya(7-8am)),after bath mga tanghali,1pm-3pm, at sa late afternoon, mga 6pm-7pm. ngayong may pattern ang sleep niya, mas marami akong nagagawang other chores sa bahay at "me-time". ;D :D ;)

i suggest to all new mothers to read the book BABYWISE.  it is the most vital thing I treasure in developing a healthy sleeping and feeding method for my baby.  At 4 months old, my baby sleeps throught the night.  The book explains that a baby's cry is not always because of hunger.  It promotes Parent Directed Feeding; you do not wait for the baby to cry for milk before you feed them, you follow a certain schedule; its more of aniticipating their need.  I breezed through the unstable sleeping pattern of a baby's first 3 months because of this book.
Moreover, BABYWISE II helped me naman introduce solids to my baby the very efficient way.  I was able to feed my baby well without having to resort to tasty and sweet stuffs.

I agree! :-) mga 3 months pa lang si Gaby she sleeps during the night na. Siguro in 3-4 weeks, around 1-2 times lang sya nagigising to ask for milk :-) Galing nung concept nung book eh, routine lang na feed, play, sleep every 3-4 hours would help the baby have a good night sleep :-)

i agree. ;D setting a routine is very important for more convenient feedings and sleeping patterns :D. it also enables you to have more time for yourself and others.
