I recently looked at my medical documents from where I was a child and I was dx with GDD.. I'm 22 now, I didn't even know about it until recently and my parent never told me. I've always wonder why I struggled in school and now I know why.. Becuse of my disabilty. At least that's why I consider it as. I read online there is no "cure" for GDD you just play a game of catch up.

Hi Mommies!

I just want to share my story. My 19 month old baby girl was diagnosed with GDD earlier and we're advised to have OT. Reasons why she's been diagnosed with GDD?

At the age of 19 months:
- she can't walk confidently/walks very slow
- can speak only 35 words
- can stack a block of 3s
- poor hand and eye coordination *she's looking at the doctor while scribbling.*

BTW, her social and emotional skills are normal.

Dev Ped is Dra. Noemi Salazar of USTH - TF is Php 3,500.00
She referred us to Core Skills in QC
Initial Assessment: Php 3,500.00
Occupational Therapy per Session: Php 850.00

May ma-suggest po ba kayong cheaper ang OT? Manila Area lang sana..
