Title: Cheap yet effective beauty products
Post by: ilovegabe on June 25, 2010, 08:31:19 pm
Please post cheap but effective beauty products that you are using right now and will continue to use, where you bought it and how much, and why you like the product.
Keep it at 100 and under price.

For sellers, you can mention your product once but ABSOLUTELY NO ADVERTISEMENTS please.
Lets be objective about our reviews.

Here's mine:
Clean Face Ph 5.9 Subacid Cleansing Foam
Saizen @ Rob Galle for PhP 85 only.

- Does not bubble much which means it will not leave a residue.
Leaves my face so soft after washing even without moisturizer.

Human Nature Aloe & Guava Wash P69.75 for 50ml. It has a pore-tightening effect and nakakawala ng pimples. Na-feel ko yung effects after 1 week of using the product agad.

Human Nature Tomato and Lemongrass toner P79.75 50ml. It has oil-minimizing and pore-tightening effect.

both are all-natural and  i order them directly from their office, i'm also a dealer by the way.

You can try the sunflower oil from Human Nature. I will try this pag naubos na yung undereye cream ko from Ponds (which i don't find effective or wala na talagang pag-asa ang eyebags ko)

mommy france i'm using that right now :) hehe all around ko yan super sulit sakin!

lewis and pearl powder! ganda niya mga sis :)

tsaka wet n wild and EFL products pag naghahanap kayo cheap alternative sa makeups :)
Title: Re: Cheap yet effective beauty products
Post by: Mommy France on December 13, 2011, 01:39:36 pm
^^ True... Im using ELF now.. although may natira pa akong mga Revlon bumili na ako. :D

Ang dami kong nabili:
Contour kit
lipstick
Eye shadow - butter pecan
foundation
eye shadow brush
bronzing brush

-- Total 1028. :D

Sulit talaga sa ELF and okay saken yung colors.

May wet n wild din ako na lipstick. Kapag walang make up - tapos red lipstick lang. 1$ lang sa US. Nagpabili ako when a friend went there.

Yung lewis and pearl meron din ako palagi niyan.
Double purpose kasi for me and kay miggy. :D

..when i was younger bumibili ako ng branded and imported na pressed powder/foundation kahit di bagay sa skin type ko cause they were tested for Caucasian skin... para lang sosyal kunyari pero hello ang mukha ko parang zombie..he he ;)

..now that afford ko naman bumili ng imported pero Nichido ang ginagamit ko (he he) kasi bagay sa skin type ko (Asian) na may portion na oily and may portion na dry and best of all cheaper... :)

in2it rin okay :)

ganda nung contour kit diba?? musta yung lipstick nila? hindi ba drying sis?

may butter pecan rin ako! tsaka yung drama e/s!

maganda sis yung powder brush nila yung flat yung top tsaka yung stippling brush rin

napaghahalataang adik sa elf haha

also yung mineral infused face primer nila :)

another cheap product i love, EOS lip balms.

sis onie, true yan! dati gusto gusto ko yung MAC foundie, when i finally bought and tried it kahit hindi keri yung shade go kasi mahal hahaha

@onie and aingge88

Nichido?

Yung contour kit blush and bronzing powder na nasa isang case.

Yung bronzing powder is for pang define ng bones structure ng face mo.

http://www.lovelygood.com/08/09/blush-and-countouring-a-how-to/

Top left – Round face
Apply blush under cheekbones.
Contour along jaw, temples, and under chin and jawline (along neck).
Highlight bridge of nose, apples of cheeks and top of forehead, at hairline.

Top right – Long face
Apply blush right on cheekbones.
Contour along your entire hairline at top of forehead, hallows of you cheeks (make a “fish face” to find), and bottom of chin.
Highlight above cheekbones (a little higher than where you put blush).

Bottom left – Heart face
Apply blush on cheekbones.
Contour temples along hairline, and bottom of chin.
Highlight just below hollows of cheeks down to jawline.

Bottom right – Square face
Apply blush on cheekbones from hairline blended to just before apples of cheeks.
Contour jaw and and temples along hairline.
Highlight bridge of nose, apples of cheeks and centre of chin.

You can make the shape of your face work for you sis.
With the right shading siguro makukuha yung tamang proportions na kailangan mo. Practice lang ng practice.

I've been using the ELF 2-way foundation and hindi ko siya ginagamit ng wet until recently.

Then I tried at home nung weekend and I love the result. Hindi nag-o-oily yung face ko.
Matte siya tignan and hindi super heavy.

I'll show you a before and after photo ngayon. Tutal di pa ako naglalagay ng make up. :)

Here it is:
Here's what i use for my daily make up routine:

1. ELF Foundation - 149.75 ata yan. Basta na more than 150.
2. ELF countour kit - 199 ata yan.
3. Eyeliner - Avon
4. Eyeshadow - used for my eyebrows. I don't use eyeshadow that much.
