Title: Hospital feedback, OB recommendation and hospital/clinic rates in Marikina
Post by: sheehan on September 25, 2011, 01:19:15 pm
good day!..

nagsearch po ako sa net kung ano po yung mga hospitals here in marikina, ask ko lang po kung may mga nakapaginquire or nanganak na po dito and also kung magkano:

1. hilario g. lazaro hospital (barangka marikina)
2. Immaculate concepcion Hospital (kaitpunan ave. marikina)
3. P. gonzales hospital (Concepcion marikina)
4. Sta. monica Hospital (BOni ave. tanong marikina)

until now po kasi undecided pa rin ako kung sang hospital ako manganganak, st. vincent or st. victoria pero naghahanap pa rin ako ng makakamura ako, kasi wala na po akong work now and 1st baby ko pa po.. ayaw naman po kasi ng parents ko na maglying in ako and public hospital base na rin sa mga stories ng mga kapitbahay ko..

hope may magresponse po.. thanks in advance mga mommies.. :)

Post by: sweetprincess on September 25, 2011, 02:32:50 pm
hi sis,
ang medyo familiar lang ako eh yung sta. monica hospital, dun kc affiliated un OB ko, Dr. Amelia Palileo, un pinsan ko dun nanganak, same OB with me, pero that was 2005 pa, and yun relative naman nung pinsan ko, gave birth din sa Sta. Monica yesterday tru CS delivery, with Dr. Palileo din. Yung rate eh umabot yta ng 50K plus since CS siya and wala kc siya Philhealth and isa pa diabetic.
Ok naman yun hospital, malinis kc ako na admit last September 7, 2011, dahil muntik ma preterm, mababait naman yung mga nadatnan ko sa admitting staff, since dun ako nirefer i-admit ng OB ko.

@ sis sheehan, wala ako idea how much NSD sa Sta. Monica, depende pa din kc yan sa OB, taga Antipolo ako, sa lying in ako ng OB ko nanganganak sa Fairlane, pang 3rd child ko na eto, siya na kc OB ko from the start, 15K package ng OB ko for NSD sa lying in so mas mahal yun pag mag hospital ka. Ilan weeks ka na?
Title: Re: Hospital feedback, OB recommendation and hospital/clinic rates in Marikina
Post by: missoni on September 25, 2011, 08:49:24 pm
sa MVMC ako nanganak last year,43k total bill namin, NSD, minus na philhealth dun.

Post by: hanne on September 26, 2011, 02:24:59 am
@ sis missoni, how many days ka nag stay sa MVMC? manganganak na din kase ako at dun ang hospital ko. sabi ng doctor overnight stay lang daw yung kasama sa package na ni quote niya at 40k pero she strongly advise na mag stay ako ng 48hrs, magdagdag nalang daw ako.
Title: Re: Hospital feedback, OB recommendation and hospital/clinic rates in Marikina
Post by: sheehan on September 26, 2011, 08:33:04 am

@mommy missoni: wow!  :o mahal pala talaga sa marikina valley?
yung 25k-30k yan yung yung sinabi sa akin ng ob q pag sa st. victoria or st. vincent daw ako, pero ward lang daw yan dun and less na rin da philhealth dyan.. kaya if private na yan sa sta. monica, e di mga around 20k pag ward lang less philhealth pa so mga 18k lower pa?..  ;) :)... nabasa ko rin kasi dito na i-qoute ka ng ob mo ng ganyan tapos may mga other expenses pa pala sa ospital.. we are planning na rin yung pabinyag ni baby by feb. para andito yung father ko, kaya gusto ko talagang medyo makamura.. kasi sayang din..
Title: Re: Hospital feedback, OB recommendation and hospital/clinic rates in Marikina
Post by: missoni on September 28, 2011, 10:35:38 pm
@ hanne, 3 days ako sa marikina valley, bale 3 days/2 nights (parang vacation package! hehe). bale yung package ng OB ko for NSD na private room  is 35k, then yung baby is 12k+ minus pa yung  sa philhealth kaya kulang kulang 43k binayad namin. ewan ko kung bakit mahal yung sa baby, baka kasi naka antibiotics si baby after birth (meconium stain, nagpoop si baby sa loob) :( yung package ng OB ko na 35k di naman niya sinabi if ilang hours yung stay sa hospital. pero sis ang mahal ng quote ng OB mo if overnight lang yun. pano kung gabi ka manganak like me, papauwiin ka na niya ng 12 noon the following day? ;) kasama kasi sa package yung meds mo so kung magsstay ka pa for another night, baka lumaki pa yung bill.

Post by: sheehan on September 30, 2011, 06:42:36 am

Post by: missoni on September 30, 2011, 09:13:38 pm

ipon pa dear, malaki din gastos after nyo umuwi from the hospital. follow up check ups, vaccines, diapers, tsaka mga gamot. haaaaay! :'(

before sa marikina valley ako nagpapacheck up, ky dra. teleg.. kaso lageng mahaba ang pila.. one time ako lang magisa pumila, ay dyusko!.. :o kulang na lang kausapin ko sarili ko magisa para lang maaliw.. nataon kasi na madame akong nakasabay na senior, priority daw yun.. kaya lumipat ako dito malapit sa amin.. affiliated sya sa st. vincent and st. victoria.. nung nagpapacheck up ako sa MVMC lage nilang ask kung may healthcard kami, panu ba kumuha nun?.. wala akong i.d eeh.. ;D

mag-aapply ka nun sis sa health insurance company like MEDICcard, maxicare intellicare, etc. usually company benefit yang healthcard, mahal yata kapag hindi. di ko rin gamay  how healthcards work, wala kami nyan eh. pero we're planning to get one na since big help talaga sya pag kailangang mahospitalize.
Title: Re: Hospital feedback, OB recommendation and hospital/clinic rates in Marikina
Post by: sheehan on October 01, 2011, 06:18:11 pm
Title: Re: Hospital feedback, OB recommendation and hospital/clinic rates in Marikina
Post by: hanne on October 02, 2011, 08:25:33 am

BTW, i asked the alternate OB kung pwedeng room in si baby. preferred daw nila yun though minsan the pedia wants to keep the baby sa nursery kahit first 8hrs lang. di ba mas tipid ang room in? since may bayad din ang nursery stay?

Title: Re: Hospital feedback, OB recommendation and hospital/clinic rates in Marikina
Post by: sheehan on October 02, 2011, 11:56:27 am
sis hanne diba pag room in kaw na po bahala sa baby mo kahit nasa ospital ka pa?.. hindi po ba mahirap yun?.. sori, 1st time mom kasi eeh.. :)
Title: Re: Hospital feedback, OB recommendation and hospital/clinic rates in Marikina
Post by: hanne on October 02, 2011, 04:15:20 pm
^tama po. first time mom din ako pero mas gusto ko talagang kasama na sya. saka ang kasama ko mom ko for support while at the hospital.  ;D

ask around din siguro. may mga kilala ako hinde talaga maganda ang naging experience sa pag room in pero lahat sila CS so medyo mas mahirap talaga from the start.
Title: Re: Hospital feedback, OB recommendation and hospital/clinic rates in Marikina

Title: Re: Hospital feedback, OB recommendation and hospital/clinic rates in Marikina
Post by: sheehan on October 05, 2011, 10:03:26 am

update lang po.. kakagaling ko lang po sa OB ko awhile ago.. and i ask her kung mayron syang maternity clinic, sabi niya sa akin mayron daw syang clinic where sya nagsa-sub everytime na hindi available yung doctor dun.. San Roque Maternity Clinic po sya.. and if dun daw ako, magready daw ako ng 10k-11k, not bad right?..  ;) :) as long as daw na there are no complications.. tapos i-less ko pa daw yung philhealth ko.. sabi ko nga sakanya, 2 months na lang tiisin ko kaya i'll make sure na mag le-less talaga ako ng sweets & maalat.. ;D kaya, tukso, layuan mo ako.. hehe..

@ sis sheehan, 15K package niya sa akin for normal delivery,  pero pag gusto mo mag hospital like Sta.

breakdown  nito:

11k++ for baby's bill + pedia PF

panatag na kasi ko don sa marikina valley, sabi kasi ni Dra.Teleg, kumpleto ang gamit and facilities don, mas gusto din daw niya na dun sya magpapaanak. may NICU and may fetal monitor pa sila, kaya yon :)

ang quote sakin ni dra. de guzman, 35k +++ NSD na private room, applicable yung rate niya sa marikina valley, st.victoria and st.vincent. nalaman ko rin nung nagpacheck up ako sa kanya, same rate pa rin until now. total bill namin sa marikina valley is 43k, less na yung philhealth dun, kasama na bill ni baby na 12k + dun sa 43k.

yep, may NICU sa marikina valley, pero nung pumupunta ako sa nursery to breastfeed my baby kasama naman niya yung ibang babies, medyo nasa gilid lang sila na mga NICU babies. as with fetal monitor, yep meron sila. wala yata sa ibang hospitals sa marikina nun.

naka-twilight anes ako, i gave birth ng 7pm, nagising ako past 11pm na. hehe. mega exercise and sayaw ako para lang NSD, ayoko ma-CS eh. as in sa sports complex ako laglalakad, mga 5 ikot para lang matagtag ako. buti na lang talaga normal, kasi yung baby ko di mukhang newborn nung nilabas.  ;)

Post by: missoni on November 17, 2011, 01:03:40 pm

TIA!.. :)

hope this helps, bago lang kasi ako dito..my ob is dra. marilen punay, 8 mos preggy ako ngayon with my first baby.. she is the director of sta. monica hospital, mura lang consultation fee niya, P200 at kung gusto mo pang mas makamura dun mo cia puntahan sa St. Isabel Polyclinic sa bayan ask mo lang yung secretary niya kung paano magpunta dun kasi siyempre pag visit mo at nagparequest ng lab test dun kumpleto na lab test at super mura pa. mon-wed-fri ang sched niya sa st isabel 4-6pm.. may mga nabasa na akong review about her from other forums na-google ko lang and ok naman daw cia.. minsan lang parang nagmamadali pero ganun lang cia pag wala namang concerns sa pregnancy.. yung package lang di ko alam kasi ayaw ako bigyan ng fixed price since complicated yung saken, may heart condition ako eh.. kaya heto basa basa ng thread..
Title: Re: Hospital feedback, OB recommendation and hospital/clinic rates in Marikina
Post by: pixelperfect on December 01, 2011, 01:10:33 am

Then if ever magka-komplikasyon, takbo sa Marikina Valley.. ok ba naisip ko??

i need your help! i'm a first time mom, 6 weeks pa lang baby ko. but i want to find a permanent OB na. first OB who checked me was Dr Ortega of TMC SM Marikina, just because she's connected with my healthcard at sha yung puwede ng Sunday.

I want sana sa Sta Monica or Marikina Valley para malapit lang at mura ciempre.  Any OB you can recommend who will also give me discount?

Sobrang na-stress ako just to find an OB.  Plus, I need to find a laboratory who will do my tests para mas mura instead of sa mga hospitals pa.

help PLS!  :'(

Thanks!

yung package mo sa MVMV pang CS ba?
Title: Re: Hospital feedback, OB recommendation and hospital/clinic rates in Marikina
Post by: hanne on February 29, 2012, 06:57:54 am
Yup, pang CS yan. pero lilinawin ko lang (since dito ako nalito dati) ang package na 20k for CS e for the mom lang hinde kasama ang PF ng mga doc (OB, Anesthesiologist and Pedia), room rates and bill ni baby. yung package na yun for the labor room, delivery room use, lahat ng 'basic' na gagamitin sa operating room like oxygen mask, gamot etc. pero ako naging bill ko + 2k something pa kase may dinagdag na gamot dahil hinde nagwork yung spinal anesthesia ko. may nararamdaman ako so pinatulog ako. so hinde kasama yun sa basic package so added pa.

^Same lang din tayo halos ng bill when I gave birth at MVMC last September 2010. My total bill was 85k less 30k Philhealth kaya 55k na lang binayaran namin. Yung sayo pala may extra anesthesia. Imagine mo naman yung hirap ni hubby sa labas while waiting for me :(

Magaling yung pedia ngayon ni baby at very accomodating pa. Pag emergency dali matawagan kahit sa text sumasagot. Unlike ibang pedia hirap kontakin.

With my 2nd baby, Marikina Valley naman. 3 days stay on a ward na nagkataong ako lang ang patient. Total bill was 70k, 50k less Philhealth. 10k dun eh sa pagstay ni baby for three days sa NICU. That was in 2009.. Not sure lang how much ngayon.

So kung normal, mas mura pa.

We went there yesterday, maganda talaga yung hospital and maganda at malinis mga rooms. For 60k CS, mura na sya talaga.

Just to be sure, mukhang sulit naman sa hospital na to.

sino ob mo? ako si Dra. Nucum. ang quote niya sakin nasa 45-55k  for CS all-in, at least 3 days stay yun sa hospital. parang mataas yung quote sayo for NSD?

Nahihiya kasi ako na palitan current OB ko although mura pa rin naman ang quote niya compared to other OBs. Sya na kasi ang tumulong samin na magka-baby so alam niya ang history :) Anyway, as long as pumayag sya sa VT ako manganak ok na din. By the way, OB ko lalaki din hehe kaya if ever magpalit ok lang ako kapag guy  ;)

Hi sis,
range lang yun, depends pa din sa room na kukunin nyo. naconfine ako dun mga 3 weeks ago kasi kulang daw yung amniotic fluid ko. yung room rates nila is as follows
ward -700
semi private - 1200
private - 1500
suite 2200
yung ward is 6 lang and patients, yung semiprivate, 3 patients, kaso nung naconfine ako wala pa tv, ilalagay pa lang daw, so dun n lang kame sa private. nice yung mga room nila. btw, yung semiprivate, walang meals na kasama.
check up ko ulit this saturday. update kita kung magkano talag yung quote sa amin.  ;)

Private room pa ko and 3 days sa hospital. nirerecommend ko din and VT sa friends ko kasi ok naman ang service, malinis and bago lahat ng equipments. si Dr. Tansinsin siguro yung ob niya, i think isa sya sa may-ari. si Dra Nucum ang ob ko eh, but i think mas cheaper pag si Dr Tansinsin ang ob mo. check up yata sa kanya is 200 lang, sa ob ko 300. hehe. ayaw kasi ni hubby ng lalaki na ob eh.

hi mommies, Im on my 17th week. Nung una, sa Marikina Valley ako nagpapacheck with Dra.

hello! do you have any idea regarding maternity service at St. Vincent Hospital in Marikina?
I am now 14weeks pregnant and having my checkup at Medical City. My cousin who is a midwife said not to deliver there because it's really expensive. She has a lying in clinic (where I was born, 30yrs ago  :)) and she said if do not want to deliver in her clinic, she'll refer me to St. Vincent. I just want to have some comments on that hospital :)

thank you, in advance. GOD bless!

Hi mommies, Newbie ako dito. I just want to ask sa inyo kung saan mas maganda, maayos pero mura manganak na Hospital sa Marikina City and Magaling na OB. CS ako sa first baby ko that was 12 years ago na. Due ko na sa July 14, and until now wala pa ako nahahanap na maayos na Hospital. Yung OB ko is from MedCity kaso ang mahal kaya balak ko na magchange ng OB para makatipid kami. Any suggestions.. Thanks

Saan ka sa Marikina?

You can try MY CHOICE CLINIC of Dr Flor Nucum at Santolan, Pasig malapit lang sa Santolan LRT station or Ligaya at Marcos Hway.
She was my OB - the best OB in Pasig and balita ko sa Marikina rin.
Painless delivery I think in her new lying-in clinic.
You can contact her if she still has the same number at 09175264263 and 09232183700.
She has many good feedbacks.
I referred a friend nanganak lang last month less na Philhealth ay less than 10k lang - 8950p lang may mga gamot ka na pag uwi

Hi Everyone , from marikina po ako , any suggestion po ng OB na malapit lang , kasi magulo dun sa OB ko ngayon , meron kasi akong hemorrhagic cyst , at first sabi kasi nila hindi naman makakasama sa baby ko yun . treatable and pwede naman syang isabay na lang tanggalin pag nanganak na ako. if ever na kaya ko raw mag normal is pwede . kaso every time na pupunta ako for check up paiba iba sila ng say. na kailangan na raw tanggalin . ang dami kasi nila dun sa clinic na yun kaya paiba iba sila which is na tatakot na rin ako kasi paiba iba nga sila , any suggestion po . salamat

Hello sis. Nahihirapan na ko hehe. First baby ko to and hindi ko padin po alam san ako mag papacheck up and mangnganak. Aside from VT and MVMC. Thank yoj Mommies
