Hi sis. Simple make up lang alam ko.

First naglalagay ako ng moisturizer sa face and neck, yung olay total effects.
Then i use a liquid foundation, yung revlon colorstay (maganda kasi coverage lalo na pag tama yung shade)
After that, I use concealer under my eyes but so far wala pa ko nakikita nung nakaka-cover talaga ng eyebags (but now i use Skinfood concealer cream)
Then i apply maybelline clear smooth shine free cake powder. Pwede mo iapply with wet or dry sponge.
I also use revlon colorstay or estee lauder powder blush
Then lastly, curl ko yung eyelashes ko then i apply maybelline hypercurl mascara

Try these products sis. On a budget ako kaya affordable lahat ng nabanggit ko na make up except for the estee lauder blush (gift lang kasi sakin). Hehe.

Here's mine.
First, apply your concealer, I use nichido stick concealer.
2nd, put on foundation, dapat ang stroke laging pataas. Always apply dun muna sa left/right half ng face mo, para you'll get to see kung makapal na ba or konti pa. Magbledn na yung concealer dyan. I use MAC liquid foundation, picture hindi mukhang nasabuyan ka ng mercury, lalo na pag my flash yung camera. Hehe
3rd, swipe ka ulit ng concealer under your eyes, pero konti lang, wag month diinan.
4th, curl your lashes, for a more natural look, start from the tip and gently and slowly, hilahin paakyat wag lang masyado mahigpit, masakit yon.hehe. Kasi kapag simpleng curl lang, yung pindot pindot. Naka 90 degrees angle, halatang naka curl, di masyado maganda tignan.
5th, apply mascara. From root to tip. Para di magdikit dikit lashes and lahat ma-cover habang swipe paakyat, wobble ng konti yung brush left to right. Parang nanginginig lang. Sorry di ko maexplain ng maayos. Wahaha. I use covergirl lashblast. Water proof kasi at long lasting. And yung brush niya masinsin, kaya di nagdidikit dikit lashes ko. Do not re-apply, lalo na kung natutuyo na siya kasi magkakaroon ng chunks of ink sa lashes mo.
6th, apply eye shadow. Para magtagal yung eye shadow at kumapit talaga yung color, basain m yung brush. Parang nagwater color lang, per wag naman as in basang basa, tutulo sa lashes yon. Hehe
7th,  line your brows, dapat laging neat ang eyebrows natin. Nadadala niya kasi yung buong face
8th, apply eye liner, cover girl gamit ko, kasi di oily yung tip kaya di nagsmudge or nagmumuka akong racoon.
9th,  moisturize lips and then apply first one or two swipes ng lipstick, leave it muna
10th , balikan yung concealer kanina, brush it rather than swipe hanggang sa pumantay sa balat. Add shimmer powder para ma-even out at kumapit maigi yung concealer and yung buong foundationa muka.
11th, put blush on.
12th, linisin yung lips from lagpas, lagpas. Then swipe another lip color, bahala ka na gaano kakapal or kanipis m gusto. Every time mag-add ka ng layer, kiss ka muna sa napkin then swipe, para controlled yung shade.

There, off you go!

A for effort sa response.hehe

Hi there!

For everyday make up sis, like kung sa work lang naman and no need for extravagant looks:

1. apply face primer (I use smashbox hydrating face primer) - it helps to let your face have a good base for applying foundation.

2. apply liquid/powder foundation (Revlon Photoready yung gamit ko since very nice siya sa pics and non-sticky)

3. brush and line your brows with brow wax and powder (Elf eyebrow kit naman gamit ko which is very affordable)

4. curl your lashes 3 times from the inner, center and lastly, the outer part of your lashes (para hindi magmukhang check and lashes)

5. apply mascara (black is better if you want bolder eyes)

6. smile and find the apples of your cheeks, apply your blusher

7. apply lipstick (you can also use a lip liner first if you want a much finer looks on your lips)

8. keep your make up set by dabbing some loose powder on your face (dab lang ha wag mo i-wipe or brush, this will keep your make up stay longer and look fresher)

9. hydrate your face from time to time by using some spritz (I use Mac Fix+ and it's SPF 15 so not oily parang water lang talaga siya, optional naman if you want)

So there, I hope that helps...anyway, you can also read my blog about make ups, here's the link:

Hi sis, pa-join...

Ako nanonood ako sa youtube ng mga basic make up tutorials.  You may want to check Michelle Phan.  I find it easy na sundan yung tutorial niya.  And also, un complexion niya is almost the same as mine.  So most likely, nakikita ko yun magiging outcome sa akin

1. Wash your face.
2. Apply Primer.
3. Apply concealer to your undereye and dark spots.
4. Apply your liquid foundation.
5. Apply your powder to set it.
6. Define your eyebrows. I prefer to use eyebrow powder.
7. If you want a no makeup makeup look, just curl your lashes with an eyelash curler.
8. Apply bronzer or soft pink blush on, on your cheeks.
9. Apply lipstick or lip gloss.

Here's mine:

1. Clean Face, Tone and Moisturize.
3. Apply Make Up Base - I use tonymoly make up base
5. Contour then blush - I still use ELF contouring and blush kit
6. Work on your eyebrows - I dont have full eyebrows kaya I dont pluck. What I do is I fill in the gaps. Before I use brown eyshadow, then I bought the eyebrow shaper from Etude. Now I'm sticking with Benefit's brows-a-go-go. Complete with eyeliner and highlighter na yun.
7. eyeliner for the win! :D I have all kinds (brown, black, white, liquid, pen, gel)

Makagawa nga ng basic make up with pictures kasi malaki naitutulong saken ng make up para di ako mukhang puyat. :D

Give me 1 hour. hahaha

Eto na ang transformation ko araw-raw. (not that anyone's asking. :D ) wala lang akong magawa sa bahay.

Word of advice - you dont have to be an expert sa make up, di rin naman ako expert. I just know what works for me and I simplify it para di ako tamarin sa paglalagay. Minsan I skip the makeup base kapag mainit ang panahon.

i don't use make up kaya big help yung mga nabasa ko sa post dito tonight...
I have oily skin...
I use clinique yung yellow na moisturizer...
Title: Re: make-up basics

Mali yung sis - ako naman ang nabasa ko is oil is not moisture.

What's the best kind of moisturizer to use with oily skin?
You should use moisturizers that are non-comedogenic (non-pore-clogging). For individuals with oily skin, the use of products that clog pores may lead to increased oil production.

Oily skin needs special cleansing with plenty of warm water and soap to prevent the pores from being clogged. Avoid harsh products that strip your skin of oil and encourage flakiness. They can cause a reaction known as reactive seborrhea, where the oil glands work overtime to compensate for the loss of natural oils.

Avoid skin-care products that leave your skin feeling taut and dehydrated. They cause the upper layers of the skin to shrink. This restricts oil flow through the pores, leading to blockages and breakouts.

Sis ghiven same tayo.

Kaya what I do, nagblot ako tapos loose foundation. Or shimmer powder para kunwari inted mon talaga magshine ang face.hehe

thanks dito sa thread na ito nakakuha ako ng tip for my office make up. I want it to be natural kasi ayoko namang maloka mga office mate ko na bigla akong nagkontodo make up hehe. Ngayon I clean my face with The Face Shop facial cleanser (Aloe/ Mung Beans) then tone with Eskinol Cleanser. I then use Myra E Actilight for moisturizer then papatuyuin ko sa face ko, Then I use my Fanny Serrano two way cake in Organza then powder with Nichido Bronzing Powder (with the glittery effect :P) then I use Avon Mineral Blush then Avon Lipstick and ok na ako.

And she advices na gumamit daw ako ng moisturizer. Kahit nga daw oily face dapat daw nagmomoisturizer parin. Pwede rin daw BB Cream muna bago powder.

di ako masyadong oc sa muka ko,basta magmukang fresh at di haggard ang face ko(puyat pagtitimpla at pag drink ng milk ni baby, hehe) here's my make up basics when im going out(malling, having snacks with friends, etc. usually day ako nalabas)
powder that suits my skintone,(mas feel ko gumamit ng compact powder pag day time)then line my brows in dark brown shade para mas natural, apply cheek tint(mas gusto ko to kasi more natural blush sakin to at light lang sa feeling)then sa lips i apply Nyx rls in narcissus ayan lang, feeling teenager lang.hehe

For my everyday work look, I just put moisturizer on my face (yung ponds na green) then baby powder, I used Lewis and Pearl na blue, then cheek tint na pretty when pinched by bench. Tapos nivea cherry na lip balm then I'm good to go. Tamad kasi ako mag-make up. Parang ang init sa mukha pag may foundation o concealer ako kaya kahit may dark circles under my eyes eh keber lang, tutal naman natatakpan siya ng eyeglasses ko hehe. Nagmemake up lang ako pag may special occassions. :)

Hi sis pa join. If you're a make up newbie i wont advise you to buy expensive make up or creams. Kung pang everyday lang ang pinaka important is to take care of your skin. Find a perfect foundation or bb cream. Then go to a salon to get your brows groomed. Paturo ka sa mga make up counters sa dept store pano magkilay. I learned mine from the very kind sales lady ng In2It. I love their brow powder and tipid pa gamitin. Wag ka mgbbuy ng super black dapat dark brown or depends on ur hair color if nagccolor ka. Then apply cheek gel sa apples ng cheeks. Smile ka sis while doing this kasi if not blended well magmmukha kang clown hehe. Buy a thickening  or lengthening mascara then apply 2 coats. Madami ok sa maybeline. Then use a curlash to curl your eyelashes. Apply lip balm then put on a red lipstick. Ms ok red pag newbie kasi if too red naman you could blot your lips sa tissue para natural looking lang

Ako nag aral lang sa youtube how to apply eyeshadow kasi yun pinakamahirap. Basta sis if you plan to study how to put on eye make up practice ka muna using cheaper make ups like Elf, Maybeline, Ever Bilena, etc. You dont need to buy anything more than 500 kasi masasayang lang. Hope this helped :)
