I need your feedback kung san maganda magpatanggal ng warts.

Any suggestions?

Hi mommy lore,

Dermclinic would be best but expensive. Sa Let's Face It, 25warts for 500pesos ata, then 25pesos each na pag may additional (magbilang ba?). Pero the one na napanuod ko po sa tv before, I can't remember the show, na-feature ang DeWart, available daw sa Watsons. You need to apply it lang, then after few mins (20mins ata), magpipeel-off na "daw" ng kusa. Based lang to sa mga nakakausap ko lang din, and on tv. Hope this helps.

Ges ;)

Hi Ges,

Ni google ko yung DeWart and found out that it was under RCC Amazing Touch skin care clinic. Has anyone tried going here? Mga magkano po ang nagastos nyo?

Thanks.

hi mommy lore, when i was in high school, i had a wart, sa face pa.ang wart kc kumakalat po un,so inagapan ko agad.since going to a dermclinic is too expensive,(and i could use the money on something else)my tita suggested that i use GODIVA FRUIT ACID.effective po. :D i just apply it every night before going to bed. acid kc yung godiva so sinusunog niya yung wart and i think that's the only way to remove it.in less than a month nawala na yung wart ko.i bought it in sm deptment store cosmetics section,i think meron din ata sa watsons.i cant remember the price,100 to 200+ ata.

hi, if i could remember, that's the godiva fruit acid revitalizing complex.not on the whole face,as in yung warts lang, acid yun so it burns the warts.di ko inapply sa paligid nung warts kc baka pag wala na yung warts, burned skin naman maging prob ko..inapply ko siya sa gabi before matulog.di ko na tanda kung mahapdi siya o hindi ;D

hi youngmom! thanks for the idea of just buying godiva, i haven't tried it but at least there's cheaper way pala to have these warts removed. I heard kase that you'll spend at least PHP500. I have warts all over my body. I read from a mag na nakukuha ito even sa pakikiapag be beso beso.

hmm warts skin infections caused by viruses of the human papillomavirus. viral infection which are more common in kids than the adults ;D can affect any area of the body like small cuts, scratches on fingers, hands and feet they are usually painless unless it is located in an area which is usually gets bumped or in the soles of the feet.

Kids can pick up HPV and get warts from touching anything someone with a wart has used, like towels and surfaces. Kids who bite their fingernails or pick at hangnails tend to get warts more often than kids who don't because they can expose less-protected skin and create open areas for a virus to enter and cause the wart.

Simply touching a wart on someone doesn't guarantee that you'll get one, too. But the viruses that cause warts are passed from person to person by close physical contact or from a surface that a person with a wart touches, like a bathmat or a shower floor. (You can't get a wart from holding a frog or toad) db they always say you could get it pag humawak ka nang frog  :D :D thats only and old saying.

theres no way to prevent warts but we should encourage our kids to simply wash their hands and take a bath daily and if they have scratches wash them with soap and water kc open wounds are much more susceptible to warts and other skin infections.  also use slippers when walking to avoid having plantar warts and as much as possible don't use other peoples shoes or slippers, always treat your personal belongings like it was something not to be borrowed like a toothbrush.  ;).

there are a lot of ways in removing warts like using over-the-counter or prescription medications to put on the wart, burning the wart off using a light electrical current we usually call this in the hospital cauterization, freezing the wart with liquid nitrogen (called cryosurgery), using laser treatment (with recalcitrant warts) just choose what is best for you. putting an ointment can take a long time while the other approach are the fastest way to removed the warts.

I think there is a filipino inventor who invented a wart remover solution it is derived from a cashew nut don't know how effective it was.  ;D

Im sure some mommies had this kind of dilemma. ako kasi since nanganak ako, napansin ko na dumami yung varicose veins ko, halata siya masyado kasi fair complexion ako though malilit pa lang naman siya kaso sabi nila lumalaki daw yun. MAy mga tips ba kayo diyan mga mommies on how to prevent, minimize and treat varicose veins?

Title: Re: Varicose veins!
Post by: mild on May 15, 2008, 09:17:43 am
hi mommy dheng, yes may relation dun sa pagbubuntis mo yan kc db nagkakarun tyo ng hormonal imbalance pag buntis tayo db?. based sa salamat dok program, sabi ng dr. use k daw ng support stocking evrytime. its also corrct na itaas mo yung paa mo pero yung magshower k siguro better to take more rest before doing it. don't always use high heels, balance daw dapat ang time to sit and time to stand.pero pag malalaki n ang varicose veins there's a laser tretment in st. lukes, if u want.
Title: Re: Varicose veins!
Post by: pinkyn on May 15, 2008, 09:54:58 am
To minimize or correct varicose veins:
1. Avoid crossing your legs, kc naiipit yata yung superficial veins so restricted ang blood flow.
2. for better blood circulation, raise both your legs to a level higher than your head. Tama yung everytime you're finished with your work or chores ay itaas mo both legs and anchor them on the wall for support as long as you can stand it. After a while pag binaba mo na legs mo, you'll feel a bit painful tingling due to your blood rushing back to your legs.
3. Whenever you're forced to sit for a long time like when you're in a meeting, mag excuse ka like you're going to the ladies' room and walk for several minutes. If you can't do that then while sitting just do ankle pumping, this is a physical therapy term for pointing your foot downward and upward. Repeat as many as you can.
4. Also, when you're standing in line and the line is quite long, shift your weight from one foot to the other and do also ankle pumping.
5. If you're pregnant, lie more on your left side and not on your right side. Wear support stockings at all times even when you're sleeping.
6. If you already have varicose veins that are unsightly and cause you pain, consult a vein specialist and undergo sclerotherapy. Be sure to ask your doctor about the risks of this medical management.

Fellow mommies! Lets forget about our babies and hubbies for awhile and talk about ourselves naman for a change. Wouldn't be fun and informative if we'll share our beauty tips, regimens, how do we stay fit, good spa, make-ups etc or anything that is related to moms beauty, fitness and pampering.

I've recently tried GANBAN Spa in Jupiter, Makati. My husband and I tried it our out of curiosity. The whole experience took us 2 hours to complete. I could say the experience was good but i'm still pinning for a human massage after the silica heated bedbath, massage chair (it's good but still missing the human factor) and the oxygen bar.

malaki talaga epekto ng varicose after giving birth, me so far after 5kids di ko naging problema yung magkaroon varicose veins, medyo naging maingat ako nun during my younger years, but my sister suffered from it till now... ganda pa naman ng legs nun dalaga sya, kaya lang madalas kasi binabaha sa place namin dati tapos teacher pa sya lagi nakatayo, di napapahinga yung legs niya, nung magkababy sya, naglabasan talaga, as in parang galit na veins, ngaun me laser treatment yata sya, ska injection, kaso super mahal.

Many thanks mommies sa infos and suggestions. Nung preggy ako, nagstocking lang ako one month after that tinamad na ako kasi naiinitan ako.

mommydheng, hello sori ha late reply ngaun lang kc me dumating from province at nabagyo p kami...
Title: Re: Varicose veins!
Post by: mommydheng on May 21, 2008, 06:35:31 pm

Also, mas maarte na rin ako ngayon like nag pa pa hair color na rin unlike dati na super conservative. My friend said, we need to look good, huwag daw akong mag daster dapat lagi nakashort sa bahay para hindi magmukhang losyang :)

1) Lip gloss - l'oreal, estee lauder, and burt bee's sa ngayon eh nagUubos ako ng gloss kasi marami nagbigay nung christmas
2) face powder - ever bilena (hiyang ako dito) and MAC
3) perfume - lovely by sarah jessica parker
4) white flower
5) comb
6) brush

ako din kikay nung dalaga days pa, pero i really don't like make up that much...the things i had then are still the things i have now:

nivea lip balm(unscented, unflavored)
nivea q10 eye cream
curlash
lip gloss (shimmery din dapat)
bench liquid blusher
clean&clear
loose powder
comb

...kaya lang, medyo mas matagal na maubos ngayon kasi wala na kong oras gamitin sila! usually kasi pag aalis kaming family, i have the option to bring both my own bag and my baby's bag (ayoko kasing hinahalo things ko a bag niya...) pero dahil ayoko ng madaming dala, i leave mine nalang, papadala ko kay hubby yung atm ko...

hi! sis ang magandang face powder or foundation for me are shiseido, kanebo, Shu Eumura or any brands na asian. I find it very applicable sa skin natin and it's more milder than US or european brands. What i do is i go to beauty bar, rustans or any make-up section ng department store then i try out different brands. Pero make sure you have your own sponge (syempre kung sino-sino na kc gumamit nun eh). then i go around the mall to see if walang reaction ang skin ng face ko. If its ok then i buy it the next time i go to the mall.

Before I had Ynzho, I was so conscious sa kikay things ko,but when I had him hindi na.

Before:
clinique sets like press powder,
skin protector
eye shadow
blush on
foundation
I also had Body shop body butter
Body shop scent
Maybeline lipstick with different shades(depende sa mood.hehe)
Lotion
alcohol

Now most of the things na nasa big bag ko is Ynz's things.
Baby wipes
Diaper
Tissue
Powder
Alcohol
Bottles
Milk container
Water
Sets of clothes
slippers
biscuits
small plastic container for his food like fruits or cereals

And kung may space pa sa bag importante is yong cellphone, lipstick, foundation and blush on. Before I leave the house I spray my scent, put on body butter and apply very konting make-up and I don't bring them with me na. ;)

anyone?

I had the same problem with you when i got pregnant sus! I really can't dress- up properly 'coz my neck, armpits and creases got really dark. When I gave birth I was so afraid to use any whitening product since I was breast feeding then. I used freshly squeezed calamansi juice to put on my neck, armpit and tummy (for stretchmarks) I leave it there for about 10 minutes (never rub the whole calamansi in your skin it might irritate you) then I do my ritual shower. I used lavander soap from Ilogmaria to moisturize my skin to bring back the elasticity and the moisture. The process takes religious effort but it does help slowly but surely. Then my mother and MIL suggested instead of using deodorant try using tawas and it does work. Downside of the tawas it's not anti-perspirant.

My MOM and MIL have been using tawas naman since ages.... ay sis grabe ang sobrang white and kinis talaga ng armpit nila. tska walang "chicken skin". Another thing sis, do you shave, pluck or wax? kc may effect din yung sa texture ng armpit.

oo nga madaming down side and plucking and shaving. Waxing naman mahirap mag wax mag isa and if done naman sa salon medyo pricey. I've tried yung veet and sally hansen (yung parang lotion) nairritate yung skin ko pero it's effective sa legs. try using electric shaver may pang babae din nun or you can try yung pang guys muna and see the effect. by the way ingat sa pag gamit ng electric shaver especially pag may "chicken skin".

eniweis, baka kaya ng good old fashioned kalamansi, astringent at milcu powder. try ko nga! ;)

i have a friend who used magic cream to whiten her armpits.
i dunno how dark was her armpits before she used the "magic cream" , tska sabi niya before daw parang chicken skin yung armpits niya, but by using dis Cream "magic cream" namuti at naging smooth.

1. wallet, coinpurse, celfon
2. suklay

they say magic cream is effective nga daw but it's soo pricey kc.  :)

Hi Mommy Vey

Oily den ang face ko pero Olay moisturizer the original one works for me. I also use Olay cleansing foam nila for oily/combination skin.  In the morning & night ko ginagamit yun.  Then toner with Neutrogena toner, then in the morning I put Neutrogena sunscreen, dati VMV kaso medyo di na kaya ng budget ko. Then I put yung Hydrating Moisturizer ng Avon, it's very good, makes my skin soft & plump, di dull looking.  At night naman the same routines except for the sunscreen of course & I use na the original moisturizer of Olay.  I use apricot scrub for my face & body once a week.  then Nivea oil after taking a shower.  Hope this helps :)

me naman po, wash lang twice a day. yung soap ko sa face is dove lang. after bath, i apply myra-e moisturizer sa face and neck. Before Mary Kay cleanser and moisturizer ako. kaso lang napaka-pricey, so i shifted to myra-e nlang. it works well naman. after moisturizer, i put loose powder para hindi lang oily masyado tingnan.

wala naman ako masyadong arte sa katawan. i dont apply make-ups, as well. i just make sure na presentable pa rin ako.  :)

just like mommy rowena and vey ann...ako rin may pagka tamagochi.  ako rin pag may bagong product try ko sya for 3-4 days tapos tamaran na...buti na lang i'm blessed na hindi tigyawatin fez ko at malilit ang aking pores. Minsan nga dapat pa-facial kaming dalawa aba, ako eh tinangihan nang saloon-no nid ko raw.  NUng 1st time na nag pa facial ako (that was 5 years ago), naku 3 butil lang nang white heads ang nakuha.

I just use Dove for my face and body, then apply Myra-E and Pond's Age Miracle sa face and neck. Nung dalaga ako nagtake pa ko ng Glutathione and then Vitamin E, pero nastop na..hehe...I wash my feet with warm water every night and then apply ng lotion, hindi lang sa feet...all over siyempre.

mom hot_pink: ano po gamit nyo na lotion??? kasi before, i used mark&spencer, pero nagda-dry skin ko. then i shifted to jergens, ganun pa rin effect--dry skin. kanina, ginamit kong lotion is yung sa baby ko -- enfant. hehe, naki-agaw ba. so far, okay naman kaso madali nawawala yung amoy. gusto ko sana yung mabangong-mabango na kahit wala ka ng cologne or perfume, through lotion lang, mabango ka pa rin the whole day. sa body shop daw meron non...pero wala akong idea kung alin don. ;D

ako kase nagwo work kaya kahit tinatatamad ako napipilitan ako mag ayos esp pag pumapasok.

May question ako mga mommies, kase medyo hindi kagandahan ang skin ko  sa face kase dati may time na nagkaroon ako ng pimples.ayun, nagkaroon sya ng scars, im using face powedr to hide it. Ano po ba recommended na pampa lighten ng scars or much better kung pampatanggal hahaha!

hai sis!

sensya na wala akong alam pampaalis ng scars or pampa-lighten...

pero sa pampaalis ng pimples, Mary Kay ang solution. pero depende din sa skin kung hiyang ka. pero so far, mild lang naman ang Mary Kay, kaya ok sya gamitin for all types of skin. yung hubby ko, when we were bfs pa, super dami niya pimples, as in big ones pa talaga. i gave him a bottle of Mary Kay cleanser. and now, napak-clear na ng face niya. wala na sya pimples ni isa. and never na nagkaroon ulit. thanks to MK. thanks to me. hehe... ;D

hello sis, problem ko rin yan dati, dark spots due to acne scars...regular facial (every 3 weeks) w/ glycolic peel (once a month) really helped aside don sa fade toner (kojic) na nilalagay ko sa dark spots lang...at saka before, may malalim (lumbak  ;D) din na pimple scars, pina-diamond peel ko rin para pumantay yong skin...hay, mahal talaga ang maintenance pag oily at acne-prone skin...as of now, ok na ang skin ko..

Mary Kay medyo mahigpit yung distribution nila, they are not like avon na kahit saan puwede buy.at tsaka indi rin sila nag bebenta w/o trials nang products nila.

hello mommas!

Ginseng soap - i forgot the name, kasi red lang un box niya..i use it all over my body..wala akong facial wash.eto na rin gamit ko sa face.

Myra-E facial moisturizer - so far so good naman..week ko pa lang sya nagagamit..dry skin sa face prompted me to use this kahit ayaw ko..kasi wala naman ako talaga ina apply sa face ko eversince..pero i find this effective naman kasi nawala naman yung rough spots sa face.

Bath and Body Works / Victoria's secret - i use their lotion and body gel.. their lotion effectively hydrates the skin..para mas makatipid ako, intay ako ng padala, pag wala, tsaka lang ako bibili nito dito (walang boutiques dito, kaya sa mga px stores lang) or pag tight ang budget, local lotion na lang..

pag my parties naman,i just add liquid eyeliner..i don't pluck my eyebrows as well..ang sakit kasi eh..

hope this helps you guys..

Then I used Johnson baby powder lang sa mukha...

aside from honey, puwede rin olive oil and sugar pero since expensive ang olive oil, puwede rin vegetable oil...nasubukan ko rin 'to lahat...pero as of now, honey na lang with sugar mas affordable...i use this to scrub my arms and legs...

nga pala, kojic acid soap po ang gamit ko sa face ko. minsan, st. ives apricot scrub. sa body naman lotion lang twice a day. skinwhite gamit ko. then i do my mani and pedi nalang. myra 400 e once a day then drink lang talaga ng 8 or more glasses of water a day.... :)

re: Mary Kaye - i will send update within the week.
hi mommy gailey - FYI in case you decide to have your warts remove ask for a cauterization wag thru laser.  I have mine removed before & my derma told me na it's best to have it thru cauterization dahil pag laser daw, isa lang ang size nung laser. so kung sobrang liit lang nung warts mo di siya naadjust according to the warts' size so kahit normal skin mo damage, unlike with cauterization ang nasusunog lang is the wart itself.  my two cents :)

For my beauty regimen,

Morning before going to work, I apply "Olay" total effects it helps against aging and wrinkles, although it has already an spf, i also still apply spf for sun protection kasi nag mo-motor lang kami ni hubby in going to work.

On taking a bath, i used body scrub but dapat two or three times a week lang daw ang pag-gamit nito. I also hot-oil my hair atleast once a month, kasi grabe ang care ko sa hair ko, it's one of my asset. " I think"! I also used olay facial wash for my face.  And of course good hygiene sa ating genital area lalo na tayong mga woman.

Lotion - any kind of lotion perhaps , me I used Victoria Secret "Forbidden Fantasy", it really smells good and Nivea body, palitan lang.

I do put make up, but sometimes if very busy sa office just a touch of lipstick and face powder okay na, but i make sure in the evening dapat malinisan ang face para hindi mag-clog ang pores. I used make-up remover.

Once a week - I used foot scrub. Meron pa ba akong nakalimutan anyway kapag na-alala ko i add ko nalang.

And drink plenty of water, nakakaganda daw ito ng skin. At wag magpapuyat katulad ng ginagawa ko ngayon he, he, he,

HOTMOM777 how much po patanggal ng warts? per piece daw yun?
hi mommy sorry for the late reply...depends on the dermatologist but my derma charges per area.  she charges 2k per area regardless kung gano kadami. so ako face & neck area before so she charged me 4k, but since medyo konti yung sa neck she charged me 3500 na lang :) i jst don't know how much na ngayon kasi that was around in 2006

thanks hotmom. masakit ba? how much did it cost you?

yup. i know. pro parang indi lang ako sanay. kc sa field of work ko. parang indi bagay.

kc i used to have a classmate na parating may hawak na hairbrush... way back hisghschool days..

me too, wallet cellphone, and safety shoes!!! ahaha.. engineer ka or architect? archi ako..

pero nagdaan din ako sa stage na kikay back in h.s. nung may crush pko na crush ng bayan.. and early college nung di pa toxic sa plates.. I used to be a ramp model kaya i had the extremes.. kikay as kikay, porma kung porma to the opposite na i only brush my hair once a day nalang.. hahaha

More tips here:

-------------------
EPSOM SALT TIPS
Adapted from the Epsom Salt Industry Council
Epsom Salt Council
Note: Check with a doctor before using if you have any health concerns.

SIMPLE SOLUTION: When magnesium sulfate is absorbed through the skin, such as in a bath, it draws toxins from the body, sedates the nervous system, reduces swelling, relaxes muscles, is a natural emollient, exfoliator, and much more.

* Relaxing and Sedative Bath: Soak in warm water and 2 cups of Epsom Salt.
* Face Cleaner: To clean your face at night, mix a half-teaspoon of Epsom Salt with your regular cleansing cream. Just massage into skin and rinse with cold water.
* Homemade Skin Mask: Apply the mask to damp skin. For normal to oily skin, mix 1 tablespoon of cognac, 1 egg, 1/4 cup of nonfat dry milk, the juice of 1 lemon, and a half-teaspoon of Epsom Salt. For normal to dry skin mix 1/4 cup of grated carrot, 1 1/2 teaspoons of mayonnaise and a half-teaspoon of Epsom Salt.
* Foot Soak: Soothe aches, remove odors, and soften rough skin with a foot soak. Add 1/2 cup of Epsom Salt to a large pan of warm water. Soak feet for as long as it feels right. Rinse and dry.
* Skin Exfoliator: Massage handfuls of Epsom Salt over your wet skin, starting with your feet and continuing up towards the face. Have a bath to rinse.
* Remove Excess Oil from Hair: Epsom Salt soaks up excess oil from hair. Add 9 tablespoons of Epsom Salt to 1/2 cup of oily hair shampoo. Apply one tablespoon of the liquid to your hair when it is dry; rinse with cold water. Pour lemon juice or organic apple cider vinegar through the hair, leave on for 5-10 minutes, and then rinse.
* Hairspray: Combine 1 gallon of water, 1 cup of lemon juice, and 1 cup Epsom Salt. Combine, cover, and let set for 24 hours. The next day, pour the mixture into your dry hair and let it sit for 20 minutes. Then shampoo as normal.
* Hair Volumizer: Combine equal parts of deep conditioner and Epsom Salt. Warm in a pan. Work the warm mixture through your hair and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse.
* Soak Sprains and Bruises: Epsom Salt will reduce the swelling of sprains and bruises. Add 2 cups Epsom Salt to a warm bath, and soak.
* Splinter Remover: Soak in Epsom Salt, it will draw out the splinter.

beauty tips:

1.  think beautiful thoughts lagi.  Think I AM BEAUTIFUL INSIDE - OUT.
2.  Olay anti aging soap for the body (makinis at parang nag lotion na)
3.  Lander Advanced skin Care with Vitamin E for the entire body.  (My nanay told me she used this sa talampakan niya at nawala yung dryness resulting to heel cuts niya.)  Very nice results especially kung nag fi-field work ka.
4.  Myra-E for the face.
5.  Malunggay tea to lose excess weight
6.  Anti aging shampoo(kasi 40 yrs old na ako hehe)
FRUITS...GREEN VEGGIES.

My co-teacher swears by saluyot, yun daw nagpapakinis ng kutis niya as in every other daysaluyot ang ulam niya.  d ko pa ito na try hehe

ako mommy, april 24 nanganak :D, btw, saan yung derma mo and how much?

C Dra.

My SIL gave me a bleaching cream I use it on my armpits and in less than a week I saw a big result/improvement already. It whitens my armpit (which got dark due to 2 consecutive pregnancy), reduce the chicken skin like pores and it also serves as deodorant. Napansin ko din yung hair ko dati mas manipis na yung hibla niya then it became lighter so no need na to shave or pluck.

I had the same problem before until I finally decided to have hair removal. It's really worth it!

The doctor advised me not to pluck before taking a bath, after na lang daw, may mga lymph nodes daw kc sa armpits natin

IPL or Intense Pulse Light. Mine is hair-free and smooth pa after 6 sessions. They recommend 10 sessions but mine was just 6 and then ok na talaga. After 6 months tsaka pa lang parang may maninipis na hair na lalabas and then I had it lasered again 2x and then after 6 months na naman ulit before tumubo ang manipis na hair. That's good for another 6 months na hair-free ka. Sa Godiva yun, sa umpisa lang parang masakit na pitik sa UA pero after a while hindi na masakit and hassle free pa coz you don't need to wax, shave or pluck anymore. Per session depende how many pulses kasi ang kailangan mo, depende sa dami ng hair at sa tubo nito. Sa kin on the average around 870 per session since nagpa GOLD member ako sa kanila. But it's worth it naman mas mura kesa mag Belo or Calayan.

Yung recommended nila 10 sessions, bale 1 session per week. Pero sa kin 6 sessions lang as in wala ng hair. After 6 months nag regrow pero manipis lang so I went back there to have it lasered again, this time 2x lang ako na IPL kasi hairless na ulit talaga. 145 per pulse kasi pag gold member so 3 pulses per UA x syempre dalawa ang UA so bale 870. Di mo na kailangan mag shave or pluck, smooth and white pa ang UA mo! hehe.

sis try epilin although meron akong bad experience dyan, pero ayan lang alam kong brand na re usable pa yung wax. pero first and last time ko ginamit yan, nung pagkapeel ng ate ko, sobrang puti and ang kinis.. then the next day, sobrang namula then nagsugat at nangitim, yun pala natangal din ata with it yung top skin.. kaya parang pumuti.. kaloka.. up to now pinapaputi ko parin kilikili ko, kebs na sa hair.. kainis.. so good luck..

NAKU SIS, DON'T USE MOISTURIZER SINCE OILY NA KAMO ANG FACE MO.

MAYBE IT WOULD help IF YOU JUST WASH YOUR FACE OFTEN WITH MILD CLEANSER NA HYPOALLERGENIC/SOAP-free.

AND SINCE YOU ARE PREGNANT, BAKA DI KA NAMAN PWEDE SA MGA PROCEDURES NG MGA DERMA CLINICS.

MAYBE AFTER GIVING BIRTH TSAKA MO NA PWEDE GAWAN NG TREATMENTS ANG SKIN MO, PARA SAFE & SURE.

HOPE THIS HELPS.

sis, yung gamit ko na moisturizer is for oily skin daw, yung sa Mary Kay.. i thought effective kasi designed nga siya para sa ganung face...pero no effect talaga.  :(

you need lang the water based moisturizer and yung very light lang.
DOnt wash din daw often kasi the more you wash, the more your face will produce oil tas mag dadry pa yung skin mo because of frequent washing youll end up with scaly skin tuloy, dry na makintab.
Frequent oil blotter lang.

I have a very oily skin din as in, nangingintab talaga  >:( pwede ng pagprituhan.
Ive been doing it so far ok naman.
And natural naman so hindi nakakaharm kay baby and nakakarosy pa ng skin so bonus na yun  ;)

Dati I use Total effect ng olay for oily skin sobrang onte lang and ok naman sya.

nag-try din ako before ng olay, pero no effect din.

at kung hindi ako mag frequent wash, pano matanggal yung dumi ng face? or what you mean was, wash ko pa rin face ko with water pero no soap lang?

ma-try nga yung kamatis, baka don pa eepekto.  ;D pano ba apllication nyan, sis? one tomato lang ba? the red one or green? morning or evening ba?

hello mga mommies!

what do you recommend beauty tips or products for oily-faced people? kasi ako eversince, oily na talaga face ko.now that im preggy, mas lumala po especially yung nose ko..i put on moisturizer and powder after, pero parang no effect pa rin kasi ilang minutes lang, oily na agad.

i look so ugly na..and depressed na rin. :(

Hi! Sis i would recommend the Bioneem Soap very gentle na sa face very effective talaga sa oily face and any skin problem kasi may antibacterial because of the neem which is the main ingredient. I swear kasi yan gamit namin

try nyo sis cyleina tomato soap. it's whitening and good for oil control, nakakadry ng pimples, nakakashrink din ng pores (at nagrorosy cheeks ang ibang users).

it's organic so ok lang kahit sa preggies.

Sis try going to your dermatologist and ask for power peel or much better to ask her what's the best treatment for oily skin. I also have oily skin, dami ko na gamit from facial scrubs to toner to  creams useless.... But when I tried power peel just last week, it works on my face and my dermatologist told me my advantage tayong mga oily skin, where not too prone to have wrinkles- yey!... =)

I am currently using Belo whitening facial wash and pore refining toner, maganda daw sabi ng iba. At first facial wash lang at medyo kuminis, pero nung gumamit na ako ng toner parang nagka breakouts yung skin ko sa face! nakakainis so iniisip ko kung stop na muna. pero once na medyo ok na baka try ko ulit and use the creams naman para kumpleto na.

For the skin, kahit anong lotions lang basta ma-moisturize. ewan ko ba, medyo tamad mag-apply eh. haha

Minsan pedicure and manicure.. before pregnancy mahilig akong magpa-spa pero for now wala muna. baka mag-contractions if mali yung pagkamasahe e!

 ;)

hi mga sis, just an advice lang po, kasi i'm using this galvanic spa treatment sa face and even sa stretchmarks ko and it works wonders, in just 10 minutes really soft and glowy ng skin ko tapos anti-aging pa siya. Products po siya ng NuSkin, so advice ko try nyo mga sis, effective siya in just minutes lang you will see the difference. :)

hi sis!

i think any product will do as long as it doesn't have any side effect or something. I didn't need to use super expensive products naman coz hiyang ako sa PONDS.  ;D  and after a long day at work, khet sabi nila na it's a no-no na mag-wash ng face kapag matagal kang nakaharap sa computer, hindi ko talaga kayang hindi maghilamos bago matulog e. kahit sobrang antok na ako, maghihilamos pa din ako. And of course, moisturizer. NIVEA lang din ang gamit ko.

like I said, hiyangan lang talaga ang mga products.  :)

@wendystar

Tapos it makes our skin care products 70% more effective than skin care alone.

These are the benefits in using the galvanic treatment using the face gels:

BENEFITS

Both Gels

• Work to restore skin’s natural vibrancy by removing impuritiesand promoting cellular energy.

• Supply beneficial ingredients with delivery enhanced by agalvanic current.

• Provide skin regenerative results in just five minutes.

Pre-Treat Gel

• Removes impurities, allowing pores to breathe.

• Soothes and conditions the skin.

Treatment Gel

• Slows visible signs of aging at their source with ageLOC technology—a revolutionary anti-aging ingredient blend.

• Facilitates recovery from stress; revives and invigorates tired skinby promoting cellular energy.

• Enhances skin hydration, leaves skin feeling incredibly soft, clean, and refreshed.

@wendystar

Recommended to use it once a week, and sis i tell you nun ko lang na-realize na hindi pala maganda mag-prick talaga, it damages your skin lalo na pagtanda. We used it anytime we want it. Naranasan niya nga magpa-facial noon sa Let's Face It pa yun ah, na-realize niya din na grabe dun, as in hindi siya maganda sa mukha. Biruin mo namaga mukha niya kasi sa pricking, e sa galvanic spa massage lang tapos sa isang treatment lang in just 10 minutes kuminis face niya, although madami siya pimples pero makinis talaga eh. Kaya ayun we swear by GS.

Kung blackheads ang problem mo sis, dapat you should use facial scrub twice a week. para maalis yung mga dead skin cells, yun din kasi ang number 1 cause ng breakouts. Kasi na-trap na siya sa outer layer ng skin, so ang makakapag-alis lang nun is the treatment and some specialized skin care like scrubs and masks. :)

Senxa na mahaba mesage ko po. :)

Naku sis you really have to try it.

Hi mga mommy, really love this discussion. Very informative. Parang gusto ko ngang i-try yung honey & sugar for my face. I'm using organic products kasi - facial wash & facial scrub (salitan ko gamitin) & toner for my face, shampoo, conditioner & hair mask (once a week) for my hair, and lotion (kahit ano) for my skin. Pero simula last January, biglang nagkapimple outbreak ako. Di ko nga lang if it's because of my hair. Lagi kasi tong nakapony before pero last November, try kong parebond kaya nakalugay na sya.
Is taking Myra 400 IU ok? Never tried it pa kasi. Need your opinion mommies.

Tegreen97 also helps my skin becomes fairer and healthy. Pano ba naman almost seven cups of green tea ang katumbas ng isang capsule tapos 99.5% caffeine free, good for digestion too!

since i'm pumping breastmilk, i'm careful with the products i use. i use cyleina's black pearl and tomato soaps on my face and dove bar. i also apply pond's daily resurfacing cream that was given to me by my MIL. tapos i rub ice on my face kasi it closes the pores daw. okay naman skin ko. it's slowly going back to its old condition. medyo naging rough kasi during pregnancy. i had zits during the first trimester. nung hindi pa ako pregnant and i had zits, i would put panoxyl and effective talaga on my skin. i also used olay total effects. balik olay ako after finishing up my pond's cream.

hi mga sis,

im on a budget so i never spend money on expensive beauty products and i have never gone to a dermatologist. i just do my research online. you'll be amazed at the stuff you learn. people always compliment my skin. even now that im 6 mos pregnant they tell keep telling me how "unpreggy-looking" i am.  ;D ;)

here's my beauty routine: i take a bath (sometimes half-bath) twice a day. in the morning and in the evening. it would be best if you start with lukewarm water to open up the pores, soap up and wash up with cold H20 to close them up. for your soap, if you have sensitive skin stay away from harsh soaps, i.e. scented, whitening soaps. Use dove. it's cheap and great for sensitive skin. well actually, even if you have normal skin it's best to use mild soaps because harsh soaps will be detrimental to your skin in the long run.

if you have pimples, citric acid is good for treating them. so try putting kalamansi on your face. there are several ways to do it. you can steam your face for like a few minutes to open the pores. then take a warm moist towelette, squeeze the kalamansi on it and put it on your face like a mask for some 15-20 mins. then wash it off. vit. c is also a mild bleaching agent so with consistent use it'll also naturally whiten your skin. ;D
i actually just rub kalamansi on my face cos it doesnt sting me since i dont have any pimples. i rub some on my neck too.

Also, the best way to take care of the skin is to moistuize. Even if you have oily skin. you still need to moisturize. The best moisturizers are essential oils and virgin coconut oil. ive researched if whether VCO would be bad for people with pimples and its not. it has a lot of uses. i personally use VCO. But only at night after my bath. right before bedtime. they say the skin repairs at night when were asleep and VCO actually reverses skin damage.

in the morning, i use another moisturizer. i use clean & clear clear fairness moisturizer with SPF 15 for my face. my face powder also has spf 18.and a body lotion with at least spf 20. anything with spf 30 and 35 should be better. dont go for those with a higher spf, they contain harsher chemicals.

i exfoliate every 3 days. you should exfoliate a maximum of twice a week. i do physical exfoliation using milk and salt. just rub it gently on your body and face in a circular motion. be very gentle specially on your face. over exfoliation can harm your skin. then after exfoliating i moisturize with VCO.

Hope this helps  ;) ;) ;)

Best way to take care of the skin is to drink plenty of water and eat healthy.

di mo na kailangan ng mahal na moisturizer of course it will help kung mag moisturize pa rin. :D

Sunblock is good kaso medyo mahal so kung bibili ka ng moisturizer, make sure na may kasama ng sunblock.

I am using Polishing Peel from Nuskin to my face.

I love this product! Its like diamond peel from beauty clinics but much cheaper plus the convenience that you can do it at home regularly. And hindi magbabalat ang face coz very mild lang talaga.

And im also using body lufra for my body.. Nagpantay ang puti ng tuhod ko and siko and super smooth ng skin after using this..

For me its worth to invest sa mga beauty products lalo na kung nakikita mo naman ang result and i am very satisfied sa Nuskin.

i use guava soap for my face, super effective pangtanggal pimples and blemishes, then clarifying toner, then night cream pangtanggal blemish and pimple marks. when i go out, i use sunblock foundation, no need for pressed powder na, sobrang ok kasi tipid ang gmit kasi konting apply lang ok na :) these are all derm products, hindi mahal and sobrang ok, so worth the money and safe :)

tama si mommy france, drinking lots of water is the first step to having good and healthy skin. ok din yung 3 steps na wash, tone and moisturize. kahit oily ang face kelangan mag moisturize kasi pag nafeel ng skin na medyo nagdry sya, mapr-produce siya ng more oil. sleeping early also a good way to keep skin healthy :)

^^ Thanks sis! :)

If I may add - CONSISTENCY. :)

If you keep on changing your regimen, it's bound to fail. Your skin needs consistency to adapt from the change and for long term benefits to sink in. It's OK to experiment until you find your skin's best friend but when it does, be sure to keep it that way. Kasi kung babaguhin lang din once nagsawa na, mag-adjust ulit skin mo and back to square 1.

TIP:

Look for products that are safe and yet effective, kahit mahal or mura yan.

SECRET TIP:

Look for the background of the company brand, kung ano at sino ang nagmanufacture nyan. Kasi marami sa market na akala mo bago pero same company lang ang gumawa, by then alam mo na kung anong products talaga ang hina-handle nila kung cosmetics ba or skin care line talaga.

Cheap Beauty Tips:

It is important to follow these sleep guidelines to optimize your health:

- Get to bed by 10-10:30 p.m. and sleep for a minimum of 8 hours
- Minimize exposure to bright lights and electromagnetic stressors (television, cell-phone, computer) 2 hours before bed.
- Sleep in a totally dark room without an alarm clock close to the bed.
- Avoid the consumption of artificial stimulants after lunchtime as they may affect your ability to relax at night

- the optimum time to sleep is between 11 pm and 3 am as that’s the best time for the body to rejuvenate.  - sleeping during that optimum time for a week and the dark circles and bags will disappear.
- getting enough sleep is the cheapest and best way to protect the sensitive skin around the eyes as well as keep youthful features, besides just applying creams and lotions
