hi ms darling so far retained pa din si developmental language delay hindi pa din nagiging asd considering 5 yr old na son ko.  ikaw ba sis?...pagkakaalam ko kasi sis once diagnose as ASD hindi na nachachange kasi ASD is a lifelong condition ang nagchchange is yun mga mali talaga ang diagnosis or yun pag nagkamali lang talaga si devped.

Kids With Special Needs / Re: School for kids with dyslexia
« on: September 15, 2015, 05:04:09 am »
hi mommy i think the wordlab school in erodriguez quezon city caters to kids with dyslexia... but its quite expensive there i inquire before kasi they said they also accepting kids with other learning disability din daw but not low functioning asd..just the high functioning asd.. and they said the tuition is around 100 to as high as 200k a year  :o

thanks mommy's sa input  :)  i also had speech theraphy and OT theraphy in core skills bfore siguro naka 1 yeaar din kami jan hnice naman waiting area have aircons but hirap lang magpark ng car but my son kasi need to have Dyad Session na recommended by his devped thats why i scout center na mayron pwede idyad sa anak ko. and na fall kami sa nest manila in vicente cruz so far satisfied naman kami may aircon naman waiting area but facility wise medyo maliit for OT session  :-[    sa speech session wala naman tayo masyado demand kasi usually during speech sessions nakaupo lang sila or table works but sa OT iba ang demad di ba lalo na pag may sensory issues ang kids. pwede na din sakin kasi at least may ka dyad na sya for OT and his speech session. corssing fingers with prayers na sana continous ang improvement ng anak ko pati kids nyo.

yun nga lang laging butas bulsa natin sa gastos pero just for the welfare ng kids natin kahit iutang pa natin gagawin natin yan di ba?...sana lang government should provide a little assistance sana sa theraphy expenses natin in any other ways   ???
grabe i think we are spending around 8 to 9k a month just for his regular theraphy parang sahod na ng ordinary employee in a month pag di mo idadagdag ang taxes  :'(

mommy isnt it nice if we talk here about different experiences we had in the theraphy center of our kiddo's? :)like o the rates of the services they have? lalo na napaka mahal ng per session 550 pesos to as high as 900 pesos in an hour  :o    are you satisfied with their materials and facilities and why?, your experienced with the theraphist of your child is he/she good and what made you say that?... strategies that work on your child that can help with other mommy's who have the same dilemma...basta anything had something to do with the kind of services you want to share in the theraphy center of your child.

Kids With Special Needs / Re: 2nd Son, also with ASD
« on: August 14, 2015, 12:53:01 am »
as far as i know sis depende kasi sa category ng ASD . meron kasi high, classic and mild....

yun mga matatalino but kulang lang sa socialization is what they call aspergers and they are capable to have family pa nga .

i dont know lang sa tanong mo na kunga na label na asd kung bumabalik sa normal ang buhay nila?....some say yes but some nagkakaganun kasi na misdiagnose lang. what i know kasi once label its a lifelong condition. ...but definitely sis theraphy will really help our kids and will help them improve. mahirap nga lang sa bulsa magastos and dapat talaga mag save a lot for it :(

Hi! Sis,

Sis, my 2 kids went to Kidschool in Scout Lazacano cor. P Tuazon near Romulo's restaurant.  In my opinion, we love the way Teacher Chari helped the kids in reading and in math.

yan ba yun cradle of joy?

Hello mommies.. my daughter is diagnosed with ASD ditto sa Dubai.. and we are planning to have her assessed sa Phil.. May schedule na ako with Dr. Dimalanta sa august and also with Dra Stella Guerrero-manalo. I saw the feedback regarding Dr. Dimalanta. Now I don't feel comfortable.. how about Dra manalo? anyone who has feedback about her? I would really appreciate for any input.. also considering Dr. Theresa Arranz-Lim  but have not yet scheduled an appointment with her..

you could try dr. jack alexander herrin in cardinal santos he is nice..

Kids With Special Needs / socialization/playgroup theraphy
« on: March 19, 2015, 11:10:04 pm »
as we all know most of the kids diagnose with autism whether mild or classic need socialization enhancement for them to learn how to play with the kids same their age. but it seems lacking ata service na ganun mostly kasi ot and speech lang nakikita ko sa center if meron man dyosko mahal din halos same rate sa ot and speech service.

can anyone here post a list of center with their contact number  and rates who are offering socialization or playgroup for special kids?... thanks so much
