Family Fun / Re: Which mall do you prefer?

Usually SM Megamall nung dun pa work si hubby. But we live close to Market2, Serendra and Boni High. We also go to Powerplant for mass and food. But recently since hubby got transfered to SM MOA, dun na kami madalas, plus ganda din yung church dun.

1st baby (2001) -  labor for 24 hours, ended up emergency CS. fetal distress and was stucked to 3cm lang :(

2nd baby (2011) - planned for VBAC. but on my 36th week, OB made some tests to check my uterine lining, manipis daw and possible for rupture so opted for scheduled CS.

3rd baby (2012) - scheduled for CS on November 5, one more week to go! Sana d muna magcontract before the scheduled date, ayoko manganak ng Nov 1 or 2!

The Balancing Act: Career and Family / Re: Working while pregnant...
« on: October 29, 2012, 10:24:19 am »
i'm on my 37 weeks and 4/7 days pregnant and still working and driving!

with my first baby, two worst things: 1.) nagkathypoid fever so was hospitalized 2.) nahulog sa monkey bar sa playground na hindi ako ang kasama kundi ang yaya so na-cast ang arm for more than a month.

2nd baby who is now 18 months old, two worst things din: 1.) fell off our bed, head first, ayun nagkabukol. usually kase nasa side sya where the wall is, pero nilipat ko sha sa gitna namin ni hubby kase sa kabilang side naman ako magpapabfeed. then nakatulugan ko na, Yun pala c hubby lumipat sa likod ko so ang nangyari, c baby ang napunta sa side where merong space. ayun bigla na lang kami nagising nung bigla na umiyak c baby (he was about 8 months). galit na galit ako kay hubby that time as in inaway ko talaga sya! 2.) he had cough and fever, then when we took him to the hosp, na diagnose sha with pneumonia :( it happened a month before he was one year old. The good thing about it was, he was not asked to be confined bec accdg to our doc, since breastfed sha, he's still very active. binigyan lang sya ng antibiotics and paracetamol.

i am on my 27th week with my 3rd baby. just like my second, super likot din maybe because they are both boys. at pansin ko pa especially tuwing after ko kumain ng food na medyo sweet or drink na sweet, nagsasommersault talaga sya sa tummy ko. :)

Getting Pregnant / Re: small age gap between your children..
« on: August 06, 2012, 02:03:40 pm »
joining..

my eldest is already 11 yrs old. almost 10 years ang gap nila with my second which is now 18months old. but i am already 6 months pregnant now with my 3rd child. nalaman ko i was pregnant again when my second was exactly 1 year old.

ok naman masaya ang feeling kase nga another blessing. medyo na gui-guilty lang ako sa second kase parang d niya na enjoy mashado yung pagkabunso niya. although 3 months na lang before sya mag 2yrs old when the third baby comes out.

first is girl, second is boy and the this third one is another boy. excited ako bihisan yung dalawang boys ng pang kambal na outfit kase for sure magkaka abutan lang sila ng size :)

sabe naman ni ate, it will be like "phineas and ferb" and she will be candace. sabe ko kay ate, meron na shang 2 makulit boys na tagapagtanggol niya :)

Breastfeeding / Re: Breastfeeding for beginners
« on: July 20, 2012, 11:03:10 am »
"Breastfeeding is a mind game. If you believe that you will succeed, you will. If you have doubts about your ability and let others sway you, then you will fail."

Our breasts were naturally designed by God to provide nourishment to our babies. Don't be easily swayed by others or by yourself by saying that you don't have milk. Mine came out on the third day. A newborn baby has only three demands: The warmth in the arms of its mother, food from her breasts and security in the knowledge of her presence. Breastfeeding satisfies all three :)

Lactacyd blue yung ginamit sa baby ko sa hospital where he was born, but nagdry yung skin niya so we switched to Cetaphil as per pedia's advice.  Until mga 6 months ko lang ginamit sa kanya ang cetaphil kase hindi ako satisfied kase wala shang amoy.. so from 6 months onward we switch to Aveeno baby wash, it so happened that i have a friend whos going to the US, nagpabili ako ng malalaking bottles.  Laking mura niya sa states than here :)
