smart.momi & sweetTess, please act on it asap.  Yung daughter ng friend ko had the same dilemma, 1st week ok then suddenly went out of interest in schooling. :-(   ayaw naman force schooling ng parents bk mas lalo matrauma.  mommy sweetTess,  same experience -- mabilis din mahawa ang anak ko.  kaya we really take time to explain ang do's and don'ts...thank God kc cooperative naman anak ko.  hope this helps...:-)

I am thankful since wala po kami masyado separation anxiety. siguro nakatulong yung pag uusap namin prior to 1st day of school and let her feel/know that I will just be outside waiting for her.   I observed during her 1st day in school last summer,  she went out after half an hour with permission from teacher to get or ask something from me then makikita niya na totoo na I didn't leave her, wala naman siya ginawa/ tinanong actually.  Til kanina na 1st day niya as Grade 1, happy siya to meet her teacher and summer classmates/schoolmates. Big factor din ang approach ni teacher on the very 1st day of school so kids will feel comfortable with them.

Lord, thank you for always giving us a nice wake up, for sparing us from illness & harm.  Please let me & my family serve as a blessing to others.  A big thanks today coz my daughter has passed the qualifying exam for grade 1, skip na po niya ang prep.

Real Parenting / Re: TV Show for Kids: Barney or Dora?
« on: March 30, 2013, 07:13:40 pm »
from personal experience po,  Barney helped a lot to us ng daughter ko knowing the basic of early childhood education How she pronounces the words kakatuwa lalo na when she was starting to learn sentences iba ang accent according sa ilan na nakakapansin sa kanya.  Also when we were out in the mall, etc  madalas may magtanong sa amin if what grade na anak ko, sasabihin ko naman hindi pa po.

hello mommies! my daughter is turning 6 this july and bottle feeding pa din kami 2-3x a day.  last september,  bigla inayawan ang milk (Pediasure) mas gusto ang milo eh since mahina kumain pag hindi sabaw,  nagpanic ako kc payat pero hindi naman sakitin.  then i found out na sinsabaw pla ng yaya niya ang milo para lang siya kumain.  nag try kami Pedia Choco pero ayaw niya din kc same din daw (she was pertaining to the packaging) ng white milk niya.  we resorted to Lactum Choco & nagustuhan niya. :)

Hi mommyayie, sorry for the late reply.  Sa New Era Hosp in QC 35-40k/ session. Sponsor ng in laws niya ang 3 sessions at hospitalization (1 day) , natapos niya chemo last feb 2, ctscan results quite ok sbi ng doctor except sa konti lymphnodes pero advice ng OB-Onco to undergo radiation para mawala na.  We believe CA Survivor sya because of God and positive thinking.

It all started there maya't maya tanong if wee-wee siya, panay bilin na she has to call me if she needs to wee wee.  though there were times "mommy, wee wee pero tapos n pla or kasarapan ng tulog na wet bedsheet at pajamas n kami parehas but it doesn't matter, turo ulit & in the middle of the night after ng milk or juice niya, ibabangon ko talaga para mag wee wee.  ganon din sa poop though mas madali sa akin kc even before nakadiaper siya, sasabihin niya "mommy, ouch tummy."

Your Health / Re: Chemo or not?

My sis in law had an operation last aug 12, 2011 in Makati Med.  10 years niya dinelay myoma operation coz of fear, financial, diabetic/hypertensive conditions. Nsa recovery room p lang siya ng ipatawag kami (her only daughter & me) ng OB-Onco about the initial diagnosis, it was Stage 3 Endometrial CA.  We were really in denial, advised ng doctor to wait for the official result bk iba naman daw. tumagal pa ng 1 wk ang result & it was really very hard for us to pretend kc we were living in the same roof. While waiting for the result, we kept on communicating w/ the doctor na malaman n muna namin result and discretion n namin ipaalam sa patient.  During the 1st follow up sa amin nireveal & same diagnosis, 350-450k ang chemo treatment plus the radiation.  At first, ayaw na niya magpachemo since kawawa naman daw anak niya maiiwanan pa utang. after 1 month she went to see her doctor and suggested her to even do radiation if wala p budget for chemo kc bk lumaki daw ang cancer cells.  On the same day when she had ctscan procedures, she went to see a second opinion about chemo and the same diagnosis kaya ipinagtiwala na Niya kay God ang lahat ng decisions na gagawin niya.  She had her 1st chemo last Oct, every 21 days ang cycle niya.  After the 3rd chemo, she went for a ct scan (whole body) before the year ends and thank God negative result lhat.  Now, she will be having her 6th cycle on Jan 31, even kami pag nagkkkwentuhan hindi mkapaniwala na nailusot ang chemo treatments. God is really good and the blessings come even in small packages.  If u will see her, hindi mo sasabihing may Stage 3 CA siya, halata lang kc naka-scarf siya or wig pag nsa labas.  Thank God also na magaan ang effect ng chemo drugs if not for the hair loss. It is a matter of acceptance sbi niya at positive thinking na magiging survivor siya para sa anak niya and alam niya na may purpose pa si God sa kanya...
